Play! by Sephora is a monthly subscription box that brings only the best and exclusive Sephora beauty and makeup samples. The subscription costs $10 per month, and you’ll get 5 deluxe beauty products, playlists,  a fragrance bonus item, plus coupons you can use when you visit in-store.

Your subscription also entitles you to PLAY! Date meetups if your store participates. I don’t even have a Sephora (not even a JCP one) but this box totally excites me even without those experiences. I love the high-end brands every month for just $10.

That little card is a PLAY! Pass that will get you 50 extra Beauty Insider points with a purchase from the box, in-store only.

The theme is “Survival Of The Chillest.”

This fold-out poster shows a list of all the items included in this box plus beauty trivia and tips. You can access all of the information and also watch the videos right on the Sephora site or use the app to scan the sheet for more info!

Everything in my box! See the spoilers for other variations here.

The pouches are cute. What are you using yours for?

Amika Perk Up Dry Shampoo ($7.53) Enriched with natural rice starch, this dry shampoo works immediately to absorb the hair’s excess oils. It’s perfect to use when you’re in need of a quick no-wash hair cleanse or an extra boost of volume. It also contains sea buckthorn berry that leaves hair soft and refreshed. Best of all, it’s free from aluminum starch and chalky talc!

Farmacy Honeydrop Lightweight Moisturizer ($9) Just a dime size of this luxurious moisturizer will do the work. It is infused with honey, which hydrates and nourishes the skin.

This cream is lightweight and soothing! Thankfully, it has no noticeable scent. I also like how it leaves the skin with an instant glow.

Sephora Collection Rouge Cream Lipstick In The Red ($3.21) This non-shimmer lipstick creates full lips with intense color.

It is a super bright red with orange-y almost pinkish undertone. It is creamy that it softly glazes the lips, but also lightweight. It has an improved coverage and is well-pigmented.

FYI – I had some transfer from some glitter elsewhere on my body – this lipstick has no shimmer!

Philosophy Purity Made Simple Pore Extractor Mask ($2.33) This mask has a fine grit and it leaves skin looking refreshed, smooth, and glowing… and most importantly, with less visible pores. Apply it by rubbing into t-zone and/or areas where you tend to get blackheads. I tried it out before my shower and although I’m skeptical it can get rid of all blackheads in 2 uses, I think it was really effective!

Marc Jacobs Beauty Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara ($11.66) I love how this mascara makes the lashes noticeable. It has super-concentrated black pigment and it also comes with a unique brush that’s widest on the ends. Although it’s a little clumpy at first try, it’s worth smoothing out because it provides a great amount of volume and length.

Burberry My Burberry Blush ($3 – it’s $4.53 counting off of the 1 oz size, but I just made a new rule that no fragrance sample is more than $3 on my blog.) This brand new perfume has a fruity and floral fragrance with primary notes of pomegranate, rose, and jasmine.

This is another great box from Sephora. I like the mix of make up prep items and cosmetics. My favorites are definitely the Sephora creamy lipstick and the Marc Jacobs mascara, both of them are classic make-up kit must-haves! This is really one of the beauty boxes that I am always excited to receive! The total value was about $40.
