Cranberry Curry Lentil Soup. I’m not a fan of curry normally but this soup also features cranberry and pumpkin, plus lentils. If you are looking for a good vegetarian soup this could be your pick. I have just recently gotten into the amazing protein that is packed into lentils and I and wild to try this soup. My husband is not a soup fan but this is going to be on our table for meatless Monday.

Curry Powder. Let me reassure you that it smells a lot better than it looks. In my opinion this looks like dirt with a much finer grain. I will tell you that I love the labels on these spices!

Green Beans with Shallot Vinaigrette featuring Herb Vinaigrette Blend. I wish my family liked anything with shallots or thier closely related cousins onion, however this blend is so wonderful that I can think of about 10 different things I want to do with it inspired by the recipe card.

This blend is amazing… oregano, marjoram, basil, thyme and a few more items, I call this amazing and it might be my new staple blend. There is nothing this blend can’t do. From salad dressing to veggie dip to meat marinade, there is nothing this Herb Vinaigrette Blend can’t do. I’m sad that this is such a small package.

Peppermint Chai Loaf. This Peppermint Chai smells heavenly, I wish Piquant Post had sent a recipe to drink this instead of making a bread. With that said, I can’t wait to make these for a special occasion, my normal breakfast doesn’t take an hour to put together. I really hope that piquantpost.com has a tea recipe for this…something super warm for a cool winters day.

I want to rub this into my skin, drink it all day long and eat it for every meal… that is how amazing this spice smells. If nothing else makes you want to run out and get this box, it should be this blend. I will keep everyone posted on my progress with making this recipe and trying to incorporate it into my entire life.

Chipotle Sourdough Stuffing. Living in the southwest, I have had my fill of chipotle peppers but I am intrigued to try this twist on stuffing. I am a traditionalist for Thanksgiving so I will have to give this a try on any old Tuesday.

Chipotle Spice is bold in color and scent. This might make a great chip dip for Christmas… oh the possibilities.

I experimented with Herb Vinaigrette Blend… it was a win! This is just a tablespoon of herb blend, a few medium potatoes and a little bit of olive oil.

I tossed them together, put them on a sheet pan single level and baked the crap out of them…

Amazing homemade french fries!!! They were crispy and delicious without being too flavorful… both the husband and child have asked for these again.

Piquant Post brings amazing recipes and small batch spice packets to my door, it’s amazing. The recipes are all about 4 steps to make and they are super easy to follow. I can’t wait to see what I can make next month and I can’t wait to keep treating my family to new entrees.

What do you think of this month’s spices?
