Petit Vour is a monthly vegan beauty subscription box sending the “crème de la cruelty-free.” Petit Vour is $18 a month for 4-5 cruelty-free and non-toxic beauty products, mostly deluxe sample sized but with the occasional full-sized item. Prepay for 12 boxes and the price drops to $15 a box! Each box will have a value of between $45-$60. Petit Vour has around 30 ingredients that they pledge NOT to put in boxes and of course each item must be vegan and cruelty-free.
The Petit Vour Beauty Box is made for the beauty devotee whose lifestyle leans toward compassion.
Each month we’ll share the best in plant-based beauty, culled from beauty’s kindest. Inside you’ll find generously-sized products (personalized to your beauty profile) for you to apply, blend, buff, lather, soak, and spray.
The items were packed in white paper squiggles and everything was in perfect condition.
November’s card shows exactly how I feel about fall – after a summer of oppressive heat, I am ready to frolic in the cooler weather!
The information card gave details of each item. You can purchase the full sizes in the Petit Vour Store and you also earn points ($4 worth!) for rating your items which can then be used in the store (you also earn points on shop purchases and for referring a friend!). Have you ever wanted to build your own sample box? Petit Vour sells samples so you can basically build your own box!
The back of the card gave some info on points and how to share your box pictures on social media.
Everything in my box!
I received 4 items this month – 2 of them were full-sized, 1 was a perfume sample, and 1 was super deluxe travel sized!
Lily Lolo Makeup Mist ($18) Lily Lolo is a new-to-me brand so I was happy to try their product! This makeup mist is meant to be applied in an “X’, then a “T”, motion after making up your face. The instructions said to shake well and hold the bottle 9-10 inches away from the face while spraying.
I used as directed, but I’m not sure it did much for me, except possibly give a dewy finish? My daughter swears by setting sprays so this will go to her, I know she will love it.
Mettā Skincare Coconut Lip Balm ($12) may say it’s for lips but this multi-tasker can also be used on dry elbows, cuticles, nails, hands, heels, wherever you may have some extra-dry skin.
This stuff smells wonderful, like an Almond Joy candy bar, and it features a blend of several moisturizing oils and butters, such as avocado, sunflower, and coconut oils plus cocoa butter. It left my lips soft all night long and for small uses, such as on lips and cuticles, this container should last a long time.
My Daughter Fragrances My Wild Perfume ($2.50) I love to try new fragrances, and am especially fond of niche brands, so I was so happy to see this in the box!
I loved some of the notes mentioned, such as guaiac wood, wild strawberry, and vetiver, while I probably wouldn’t have personally picked something with violet or sandalwood. I ended up liking this scent which was sweet, fruity, and warm at the same time. It was a perfect blend for my nose, not too floral or gourmand.
Juice Beauty Green Apple Brightening Gel Cleanser ($13) says it’s for sun-damaged or aging skin, and I’m sure my face fits both of those categories. I usually use an oil cleanser to remove makeup but wanted to see how well this worked on its own so I applied the somewhat stinky gel to my wet face. It felt pretty cleansing and I noticed a little tingling around my nose. After rinsing with warm water I went over my face with a toner-soaked cotton pad and was happy to see that my face was clean!
As always, I enjoyed the products in my Petit Vour box! I love my new lip balm and perfume, my daughter will love the setting spray, and I can always use a nice cleanser, especially one that lets me skip my usual two-step process when I’m overly tired. This month’s box had a value of around $45.50, which is well over the price paid for the subscription. Petit Vour is one of my favorite boxes and I look forward to seeing it pop up in my mailbox every month!
