Every month, all the selections arrive inside a Penny + Grace pouch!

This month’s pouch came with a two-headed robotic skull enamel pin.

Subscriptions are available in dipped 18k Gold, Silver, and 18k Rose Gold options, which you can change any time throughout the life of your subscription. You can also select a surprise metal and opt for no earrings.

The information card comes with an illustration of each of the pieces, plus their retail value.

FYI – this October box came in November – a real bummer considering the theme. They sent out a boutique gift card as an apology – but frankly I was surprised to still not get this box by Halloween, especially when I saw the skull earrings.

They also announced some updates:

  • rings are coming!
  • additional 1″ length on necklaces coming!
  • shorter bracelets!
  • upgraded earring backs!

Yay for separate smaller pouches! It makes accessories easier to store and also prevents them from having scratches.

Everything was neat and well-packaged.

Everything in my October 2017 Penny + Grace box!

Evil Eye Necklace ($22) Measuring 38 cm, this necklace with micro paved crystals doesn’t look wicked at all.

A closer look at the pendant will make you realize how intricate the pattern is. It’s the perfect dainty necklace perfectly paired with girly outfits whether for work or for a casual day out.

Barr Necklace ($18) I got another adjustable necklace and it’s just as lovely as the first one. It measures 38 cm.

I like its simplicity, which also means it’s quite versatile. It’s an accessory staple. Unfortunately I got totally claustrophobic when attempting to take this off (I could really use the inch!) and totally ripped it right off my neck.

Skull + Crossbones Earrings ($12.95) This pair of stud earrings features skulls and crossbones, which could have been perfect for Halloween if only it arrived earlier.

I always look forward to receiving Penny + Grace because they are great in choosing jewelry I can wear on a daily basis. I also like the idea of mixing and matching them with accessories from past boxes. It’s a fun subscription for anyone who wants to build their accessory collection! I really didn’t like receiving this after the fact (and strongly recommend that boxes do themes with more than plenty of time to spare) but I was happy with their proactive customer service. Plus mid November I’m still wearing the skull studs!
