The GlobeIn Artisan Box Club is a subscription that sends handcrafted products from around the world. All items are produced either by collectives that are fair trade certified or that respect and adhere to fair trade principles. All artisans and farmers whose products are distributed by GlobeIn are paid a fair wage for their products.
GlobeIn has revamped their product line and now offers all subscriptions under the Artisan Box Club! The previous subscriptions are now under 4 Artisan Club Box levels: Premium, Deluxe, Essential and Starter. Premium and Deluxe boxes are $33 and $25 per month, respectively, while Essential and Starter boxes are both $10 per month each.
The former “Artisan Box” ($33) is now the Premium level, and the former “GlobeIn Club” ($10) is now the Essential level.

The theme for this box is SNUG. Artisan Box subscribers have a selection of themes from which to choose. This way, artisans will be able to meet GlobeIn’s needs while also having longer, steady work as they continue to produce items for the Artisan Box.
Along with all of the lovely items in the box, the Artisan Box includes a booklet that gives details about each of the artists responsible for the items in the box.

Krochet Kids Cotton Beanie – Uganda & Peru. Thick and soft, I can wear this cotton beanie all day when the temperatures drop!
According to GlobeIn, this beanie should be occasionally hand washed cold and hung dry in the shade. I absolutely LOVE it. the pebble knit keeps my head warmer and it’s 100% large enough for my head.
Batik Boutique Eye Mask – Malaysia. This lovely eye mask is made by women from Batik Boutique using hand dyed fabrics.
These are actually comfy to wear! Another thing to love about the artisans who made this is that they are committed to a low-waste operation so they upcycle their remnant fabric to create new products. So eco-friendly!
Pair Of Mugs – Palestenian Territories ($15 each) These beautiful mugs feature ornate floral designs. It’s such a great way to share the warmth of a hot beverage with a loved one!
The design resembles the aesthetics of Palestinian heritage and, according to GlobeIn, the artisan who made this believes that connecting to his cultural roots through each tiny detail he paints provides deep personal satisfaction. That is just so heartwarming to know.
Organic Dark Chocolate Caramel Crunch With Sea Salt – Dominican Republic. This organic bar of chocolate had the perfect sweet-salty taste!
Ingredients are fair-trade and sourced from small farmer organizations. These include organic chocolate liquor, organic raw cane sugar, organic caramel, organic cocoa butter, and organic ground vanilla beans.
It also comes with an info leaflet.
Crunchy caramel bits serve as the perfect complement to mouthwatering sea salt crystals. It also brings out the complex flavors of the smooth, fruity, and rich dark chocolate. Yum!
The items we received from this month’s box perfectly represent the theme SNUG. Every item gave off a comfortable, warm, and cozy feeling. As always, we enjoyed reading the stories about the artisans and the items they make. GlobeIn is really a thoughtful box. I love the details of the items like the mug and the eye mask, while the chocolate is a real delight to my tastebuds. Looking forward to more meaningful items in the future boxes – this is one of my faves ever!
