Macy’s Party Perfect Cosmetic Bag – Every month comes with a completely new beauty bag.
Unlike the earlier bags that comes with this box, this one is simply gorgeous. They finally got it right (for me) because the simplicity of this bag is perfect for girls of any age.
Chanel Paris Gabrielle Eau De Parfum ($3.13) A scent that is not too strong, this floral fragrant perfume is just perfect for a night out. And the scent is based from four white flowers:
a rich, enveloping heart of exotic Jasmine shimmers with the fruity green notes of Ylang-Ylang, while fresh and sparkling Orange Blossom shines through, offering a glimpse of Grasse Tuberose captured at its finest.
Yay for a spray! When I wore this out I got immediate compliments on it. Floral scents aren’t my personal favorite, but since I specifically was told that I smelled WONDERFUL I’m likely to wear it again!
Blotterazzi Pro By BeautyBlender ($7?) This is the perfect alternative to a blotting paper, as it absorbs excess oil from skin and doesn’t even disturb make-up so you’ll sure look radiant and oil-free (mixed reviews on this – love or hate). It’s washable and reusable too. An easy way to freshen up on retouch sessions even if you’re in a middle of a party! I don’t think this color is any different than the regular version, except that it’s black – and the retail version comes with a metal carrying case and 2 blotters for $20 – hence the $7 guesstimate. I like it as a pressed powder applicator replacement.
Benefit They’re Real Beyond Mascara ($8.47) This lengthening mascara curls, volumizes, lifts, and separates lashes.
The brush features staggered bristles that grabs close to the roots, boosting its length and volume, also the dome tip uses precision bristles to lift, define and curl even the tiniest lashes. It’s a great product to enhance, emphasize and make me feel great that I have gorgeous lashes!
LancôMe Cils Booster Xl Super-Enhancing Mascara Base ($9.42) This condition your lashes before applying mascara! It’s a primer that creates longer and more volumized lashes.
This innovative mascara primer glides on, evenly coats and smooths the lashes to maximize the results of the mascara to be used after. It is infused with micro-fibers and vitamin E that ads extra length and thickness to lashes for added visible performance. It is also white in color that allows the black pigment from the mascara to stand out.
Tarte Tarteist Creamy Matte Lip Paint ($3.40) This deep nude liquid lipstick is a perfect addition to a party purse or clutch bag.
It’s quick dry, full coverage, transfer-proof liquid lipstick with a comfortflex formula that moves with your lips. The formula was long drying but I wish this shade had a bit more color. It’s a great neutral though!
MAC Prep + Prime Natural Radiance Base ($5.04) This silky gel emulsion hydrates and primes the skin for a better and improved foundation or powder application. This is the perfect primer for oily or combination type skin as it controls oil and promotes smooth skin. And I won’t have trouble with my skin looking cake-y or flake-y after applying foundation. Since MAC only recently started appearing in boxes I’m always excited for any item!
This month’s curation from Macy’s was a party-goer’s best friend with handy and compact make-up items great for a quick fix during a party. Everything fits perfectly in the cosmetic bag that is super chic. The total value was about $36 and the $10 coupon really made it a wow bag. I ended up being practical and got an all natural stick deodorant (they are spendy!) but I was just so pleased to get it free in addition to to the items in the box!
