Everything in the Fall box!

A cute personalized information card tells us all about the items in this month’s box. By looking at this, I’m not exactly sure of the theme. Christmas maybe? I like that they provide us with a link to all the artisan.

Nail Polish by Beyond the Nail. Bright White and NoiseMaker. (around $10 each). Free from the big 3 : toluene, dibutyl phthalate and formaldehyde, these nail polish are vegan based, non tested on animals and the pigments are mineral based. The colors are fun and versatile for Christmas Season!

Cupcake Soap by Small Batch Soaps – Vanilla Berry ($8.50). How cute is this vegan soap! It is quite soft at room temperature, and smells like sweet cupcakes!

Cries Over Spilt Wine 5X7 Print by Kitties and Cabernet. A cute print for the incoming festivities, and a very thin cardboard. I wish it would have been thicker, but once it’s framed, it’ll be perfect.

3-pack Buttons Cat Pins by Bailiwick ($5). An other cute little item is this set of three cat themed button. I like the tuxedo style for the kitties! Each pin is 1″, and I really like the simple design.

Scarf by Ocean Avenue ($10). I couldn’t find this specific item in the artisan’s store, but this is a 100 % polyester double layered round scarf.

Even though I’m not a big fan of animal prints, this monochrome scarf will fit nicely with my winter black wool coat. It’s nice to have a “closed” scarf when the cold wind gets through every single cracks in your carefully layered winter coat!

Colour-Me Postcards by It’s OK it’s ART ($3). Two fun postcards that you can color before sending, or let your penpal have fun with it! Boss Lady, and Classy but I swear a little.

The back of the cards are not what I would expect for a postcard, but the cardboard has a nice feel to them and they would probably live through the mail!

3-pack Gift Tags by A little Leafy ($3.50). I love the designs, but the paper it was printed on was a bit odd to me. None of them are the same size, it’s on simple paper, it just feel like something I would have done better. Luckily, you can download the design from the etsy store and make your own gift tags, as many as you want, and on your own paper or card! I Love all the wine puns, I’ll just make sure to not use them for the kids presents!

Somehow, I feel underwhelmed by this box. I didn’t feel a theme going through all of the items, except a vague Holiday feeling. Each items were nice individually, and I’m really happy that I get to try a new nail polish, the scarf is nice and the soap smells awesome. But together it feels like it was lacking in variety, based on all the categories Craftadian said they could pick from (jewelry, stationery, candles, textiles, home decor, body care, edibles). I’ve looked at previous boxes and they looked great and fun and full of variety with tea, jewelry, lip balm, soap, cards, and so on.I hope this was just a fluke as I really like that they highlight local artisan!

I signed up, expecting to get the spring box. But when it didn’t show, they told me I’d get the next box for summer. Fair enough. So, it arrived. It contained items from their first sprigbox, which I had already purchased from them earlier, as they had told me I WOULD NOT be receiving it. I DID NOT get the August box, I got a bunch of random items. When I complained, they got back to me and said they’d send me some cards. The cards never arrived. Beware of subscribing to this box as they just seem to toss in a bunch of items at random and everyone gets something different!
