The Collectors Case is a geeky mystery box shipping from Canada. This box is super cool because you have a chance to receive a mystery POP Vinyl or a celebrity autograph! There is typically a theme for the month.
The production of this box is top notch – the branded kraft paper is thick and smooth, and looks so professional!
The info card includes all the items you’ll receive. You also have a chance to receive a bonus Pop vinyl or an autograph! The Sure Thing version of the box guarantees an autograph.
Halloween Shirt — A shirt perfect for Halloween with a skull and BOO!
The Walking Dead Piggy Bank ($19.47) — I do not like zombies or The Walking Dead. This bank is very detailed and very disturbing.
The Walking Dead Action Figure ($6.50) — Again, very detailed.
Sons of Anarchy Club Emblem — I don’t watch Sons of Anarchy so I don’t know the story behind this. It is a 3D style sticker you can put on your car, bike, laptop, etc.
Walking Dead Survival Box — There were a few different items sent out for this item, you could have received a zombie survival first aid kit or a bonus Pop. The Survival Box is a small sample of trading cards by Topps. There is a chance for an autograph card as well. I did not open this, as I am giving it to a friend of mine who is a big Walking Dead fan. Collector’s Case has been sending out trading cards in every box and I find it to be a filler item.
Scars and Rips Tattoos — Another great idea for Halloween. These are temporary tats you can easily remove with rubbing alcohol.
Definitely gross!
I got a mystery pop!
Duck Tales Dewey Pop Vinyl ($9.20) — It’s the classic Disney character Dewey!
Nightmare Before Christmas Blind Bag ($7.99) — A blindbag with a Nightmare Before Christmas minimate!
I got Jack Skellington, the Pumpkin King!
This month was a big miss for me. I am not into the Walking Dead or Sons of Anarchy, and with the exception of the Nightmare Before Christmas figure and the tattoos, nothing else really held my interest. I wish Collector’s Case would stop relying on trading cards, it’s a filler item and it’s been going on for the last five or six boxes.
What do you think of this month’s The Collectors Case?
