Toy Box Monthly is a monthly surprise box full of toys. Every month, you’ll discover the latest, greatest, and hard to find toys from the brands you love for one low price. The boxes are carefully hand selected on a monthly basis and will include 4 to 6 items. When you subscribe you can select from 3 Categories of toys to choose from: BOYS, GIRLS, or a MIXTURE of both. With my two boys, we get the boy box.

Mr Potato Head as Optimus Prime ($8.99) – My boys are just getting into the Transformers movies. I, of course, remember them from back in my childhood and have always liked the newer movies so I knew who this was right away. They have watched the first couple and we are getting ready to watch the rest. I’m late to the game and just watched the first Mark Whalburg one really liked it so I’ll have catch the next one when its on.
Star Wars Titanium Series Inquisitor’s Tie Advanced Prototype ($6.49) – We are a HUGE Star Wars family and my boys (including my hubby) can tell me way more about it than I ever really need to know. I enjoy the movies but I don’t over analyze everything. This very detailed ship looks like the ones from the Star Wars: Rebels series.
Little Tikes Activity Dough Bag – This is a great on the go bag. It would be great to toss in our diaper bag or to go bag for when I need some at the table entertainment while we are out. It has all the pieces you need for some fun right in one place.
Star Wars Tatooine Sandtrooper ($8.20) – They can send Tsum Tsums every month and we’d be happy. They are highly collectible and we love to play with yours. Many times I keep them to my self but my youngest son is in love with this one and has out Star Wars collection of them in his room so he ran off with this one. He was so excited since he only has a regular storm trooper and this Sandtrooper looks so different.
Zomlings Series 3 – We’ve gotten another bling bag in a different series in our box before and I’ll still say they are so ugly they are cute. Series 3 had the Zomlings riding on train cars as a new way to wreck havoc on cities.
We got an engine which is perfect since it will lead our collection of trains. We also got a gold zombie dog which my son says is the best. He says all gold ones are always the best. Not sure if that is true in this case but as long as he is happy its a great toy.
It’s just an OK box from Toy Box Monthly. While the items are all good quality and fun, a couple of them are just a bit too young for us. The box overall was a win with my boys since we will always take Tsum Tsums and my son loves the ugly Zomlings which came right before Halloween, so perfect timing. With a blind bag item style box, we can’t expect to love everything but we are always excited to see what comes each month and dig into the surprises.
