Sunday Mood Subscription Box Review September 2017 (Box Currently Closed)

It looks like Sunday Mood has closed up shop. They have remained quiet on social media, haven’t responded to emails or messages, and have deleted their Facebook account. Their Instagram link goes to one of my previous reviews, and their Cratejoy page says “currently unavailable” while their direct page says “404 page not found.”

Sunday Mood did offer two subscription sizes: The Beauty Sample Box was $25 a month for 2-3 sample sized and 1 full sized beauty product, while the original Sunday Mood Box was $44 a month and included 4-6 full sized products.

My August and September $44 boxes looked more like the $25 box, with smaller sizes and not worth the subscription price paid. For now we are marking them as closed, which is too bad because the June and July 2017 boxes were exceptionally awesome.

The 5 products in my September box were again small, just like in August; the product info card was missing; and one of the products was leaking. The luminizer was melted in the container.

    I got a leaked item in this box and the garnet container was broken. They actually sent an even worse box for October. But I cannot find any way to contact them (although I cannot imagine they would resolve anything since they ignored previous inquiries)

      Wow Jane, I can’t believe they sent a box that could possibly be worse! I hope you are able to get it resolved!

    So disappointed!! Sunday Mood seemed to be doing so well. My customer service experiences were great. Then I didn’t receive my July box. My August box was missing an item and had no product card. My emails were not answered. I ended up writing and asking if everything was okay because it was so uncharacteristic. That email didn’t receive a response either. When I logged into my Cratejoy account I noticed my Sunday Mood subscription had been cancelled.

    It’s not only unfortunate that this box seems to have ended but the way in which it just fizzled out with no explanation is extremely disappointing.

      Erin, I agree, this seemed to come out of nowhere and I am disappointed too. I would love to see them rally but with the lack of notice and unresponsiveness to paying customers means that the window has probably passed.
