It’s no longer the one-and only Stan Lee Box – there’s now also the Stan Lee Comicbook Box – find all the details here!

The theme of the box was “The Marvelous Age.”

A short welcome message from Stan Lee!

This letter details the Silver Age of comics!

The information sheet gives you a list of all the marvelous items this month plus details on exactly why they’re chosen. It’s on thick cardstock and totally keepable.

‘Nuff said. Indeed!

Everything in my Stan Lee Box!

Stan Lee T-Shirt

This biker styled t-shirt has a small logo on the front. It was designed by Han Soloski.

The back has a full on Stan as skull design, complete with crossbones. Or cross drawing utensils!

Stan Lee Wham Blox: From Bleacher Creatures this cute stuffy can be tossed and whammed!

I think he’s visiting Joan. RIP!  What an amazing couple.

Q Fig- FX Light Up Ironman ($26.90) Subscribers received either Daredevil or Iron Man.

This one lights up and comes complete with batteries.

Back last February I mentioned in a Loot Crate review that I wanted to hack my Deadpool qfig to have a light up base. I never made that happen but I am so psyched about this line!

The figures are amazing and the base makes it next level!

It’s just so awesome lit up!

This depicts Iron Man from Civil War!

Marvel MasterWorks The Avengers By Roy Thomas & John Buscema ($24.99 – about $17 used on Amazon) Subscribers received one of two Avengers volumes or Iron Man, Spider-Man, or The Human Torch.

These books collect the classics!

The colors are really vibrant and a great way to start with the canon.

*cough*

Exclusive Joe Jusko Illustration: An comic book cover in-progress print!

It has a thick plastic protector as well as more details about the illustrator.

Bendy items are collated in the envelope!

Everything in the envelope!

Fun Facts Card #61: Each box has a fun facts about Stan card, in a thick clear plastic protector.

Fun fact about Marvel’s name – used to be Atlas!

Stan’s Soapbox The Collection Reprint

All of Stan’s comic editorials collected in one volume! This is a reprint of the same volume from about 10 years back.

Definitely a throwback and an interesting intro.

Inhumans Once & Future Kings Volume #1: In this month’s box were volumes one and two of the current Inhumans series. The covers are great and of course – feature Stan.

Inhumans Once & Future Kings Volume  #2: A good intro to the new show. The covers and the illustration we saw earlier all go together.

There’s really a ton of items in the Stan Lee boxes and the curations work really well when you use the information card to help guide you through the items. I love all the next level Stan cameos (seriously my favorite) and the exclusive items have been really fun. I do need to point out that the QFig isn’t exclusive, but I was so jazzed about it I don’t think it really matters. For a comic collector or aficionado, the variant covers are excellent – and I was thrilled to see volumes 1 and 2 of the Inhumans instead of two different variants of the same book.!

I subscribed to the box and asked them to send me a past box for my sons birthday and a future one for xmas. They were very helpful in the beginning and then all went south. Customer service was lacking and they gave me a tracking number that has no activity on it for 2 weeks. I am still waiting to find out what is going to happen. I just saw a lot of comments on Facebook that people are having similar issues. They subscribed but never saw the box! Maybe you can contact them and see what’s going on. It should be a warning for your readers if the company is not able to deliver the products.
