There’s also a short note from GlossyBox, plus a spoiler.

This month seems to be runway-themed!

The box is filled to the top!

Everything in my September box!

Lancôme Paris Advanced Génifique Sensitive Antioxidant Serum ($78 fullsize – maybe $10-5?)

In order to use this you’re supposed to squeeze on the blue part until it mixes with the clear liquid. There are multiple applications worth in this sample, but I can’t help but think it’s max 3 or 4 – because clearly they wouldn’t do a bi-phase packaging if the mixture didn’t deteriorate?! Or maybe it’s just a gimmick – watching the Sephora video it looks like they combine the entire bottle’s worth. This serum is supposed to resolve dry patchy textured skin and boost its radiance while fighting environmental stressors with a healthy dose of antioxidants. It was soothing, but will take a couple weeks to determine efficacy!

Manna Kadar GLO Illuminator ($29) My sister in law who lives in the UK was pumped about getting one of these in her June Glossybox, so if you’ve not been completely inundated yet (they’re a frequent box brand) you may just say wow!

This liquid highlighter gives the skin an instant radiance and a really subtle shimmer. It can either be mixed with foundation or worn alone. This is just perfect because it comes in a universal shade! I love that this product isn’t overly pigmented.

Pureology Clean Volume Shampoo ($7.50)

Pureology Clean Volume Conditioner ($7.50)

I’m not always crazy about shampoo & conditioner, but this is vegan, has a bit of a cultish following, has a high value, is good for colored hair, and adds volume. Yay for me on the latter.

Freeman Beauty Infusion Charcoal & Probiotics Cleansing Clay Mask ($8) If this looks familiar, well, I received it last month. Here’s what I said:

This cleansing clay mask is designed to draw toxins out and infuse skin with probiotics to clarify your complexion. It’s paraben- and sulfate-free too. I wouldn’t even be upset at this as a regular product in the box – I think Freeman Beauty is a great brand, even if it’s usually found in a drugstore.

Let me rephrase – I shouldn’t get a repeat the next month, I’m bummed about this product being in there again. Some received a sample size shadow, so I cannot complain too much.

Lancôme Paris Visionnaire Advanced Multi-Correcting Cream SPF 20 ($8.70) This anti-aging cream also has sunscreen, and it’s supposed to fight wrinkles and other age spots. Plus it has plumping and hydrating power, along with a silky finish. This one’s a win.

Morgan Taylor Nail Polish in Magician’s Assistant ($9) Some subscribers received this in Pretty Wild.

I tried this out – 2 full coats –  and it chipped quickly – next time I’ll use a base coat and a top coat plus another polish coat, but really – I prefer a formula that stays without fooling. The lavender greige is nice – as is the lilac shift.

This box wasn’t a wow box for me this month. I would have been a lot happier if the polish hadn’t chipped for me, but I’m willing to chalk that up to user error. I didn’t like the repeat product either, but I’m happy to receive spendy Lancome. That being said, with The Hut Group’s acquisition of GLOSSYBOX, I’m hoping they stop sending US consumers items that aren’t wow – like the Manna Kadar that we’ve seen far too often (or like the Mane N Tail in a recent Look Fantastic Beauty Box!).  Some things don’t need exported and re-imported!
