Petit Vour is a monthly vegan beauty subscription box sending the “crème de la cruelty-free.” Petit Vour is $18 a month for 4-5 cruelty-free and non-toxic beauty products, mostly deluxe sample sized but with the occasional full-sized item. Prepay for 12 boxes and the price drops to $15 a box! Each box will have a value of between $45-$60. Petit Vour has around 30 ingredients that they pledge NOT to put in our boxes and of course each item must be vegan and cruelty-free.

The Petit Vour Beauty Box is made for the beauty devotee whose lifestyle leans toward compassion.
Each month we’ll share the best in plant-based beauty, culled from beauty’s kindest. Inside you’ll find
generously-sized products (personalized to your beauty profile) for you to apply, blend, buff, lather, soak, and spray.

The items were packed in white paper squiggles and everything was in perfect condition.

October’s card is adorable!

The information card gave details of each item. You can purchase the full sizes in the Petit Vour Store and you also earn points for rating your items which can then be used in the store (you also earn points on shop purchases and for referring a friend!). Have you ever wanted to build your own sample box? Petit Vour sells samples so you can basically build your own box!

Everything in my box!

I received 5 items this month and they all look absolutely lovely!

Get Happy Body Wash ($7) I love mint anything so this peppermint infused body wash really DID make me happy, in several ways. It is made by adults who are mentally and physically challenged; it smelled really good, like mint and geranium; it has a short list of real ingredients. I found it best to rub it all over my arms and legs with my hands, and then went over it with a body brush before rinsing. It didn’t work well with my plastic shower pouf, but most all-natural products don’t for some reason.

Shamanuti Pumpkin Enzyme Masque ($10.68) smells just like pumpkin pie batter! The ingredients include pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg, and glycolic acid. The pump was useless and clogged after two pumps and the container is hard plastic so keep a popsicle stick or something similar nearby to get it out of the container if necessary. I did experience tingling but my skin didn’t look irritated afterwards. Best for combination or oily skin.

KANI Botanicals Moon Milk ($19) has an amazing scent thanks to jasmine & tuberose oils – I’ve tried several different KANI products that all seem to have this fruity floral scent. The base is apricot oil and it has shimmering particles that lend a healthy glow.

You can dab this stuff on your face, shoulders, or other body parts, or run a little through your hair. I mixed it into an unscented body lotion for a more subtle glow and scent and it worked like a charm and should help this bottle last longer.

Poetic Blend The Ghost Oil ($8.33) is a true multitasker! This blend of 5 different oils, including (vegan) squalane and camellia oil, is light weight and my skin absorbed it quickly. I used it in 3 different ways. First, I placed a couple drops on a moist cotton pad and removed my eye makeup. Second, I used it as the first step in removing my face makeup. Finally, after cleansing with my usual cleanser, I applied this over my face as a moisturizer. It had no noticeable scent and I really enjoyed it! It can also be used on cuticles, hair, or dry spots on the body such as elbows.

Mai Couture Highlighter Blotting Paper in Crystal Cove and St. Barts ($1.60) I have mixed feelings about these little makeup-infused papers. Sure, they are cute and convenient to carry but I felt like the color payoff was just ok, I had glittery fingers after using, and it was almost impossible to place back in the little plastic envelope with the sticky closure. The idea is to use the papers to blot the makeup on the skin, which also helps absorb oil.

Here are the Moon Milk, Mai Couture in Crystal Cove, and Mai Couture in St. Barts swatched on my arm.

As always, I enjoyed the products in my Petit Vour box! I tried three items from companies I know and trust and two items from brands that are new-to-me, and they were all winners. I especially liked the shower gel since I love anything minty, plus the Ghost Oil had so many different uses. The pumpkin mask was perfect for the month of October, the début of all-things pumpkin spice! This month’s box had a value of around $46.61, which is well over the price paid for the subscription. Petit Vour is one of my favorite boxes and I look forward to seeing it pop up in my mailbox every month!
