Orange Glad says this size box will “make 1-2 people happy.” I enlisted my family to try these treats so 3 people were made happy this month!

There was an information book inside that contained details about the companies, treats, and best-by dates.

I enjoyed reading about the makers and learning a bit about their companies!

Everything in my September 2017 Orange Glad box!

Lark Fine Foods Shortbread Trio What a cute box, with three, count them, three sleeves of cookies inside!

I received 30 cookies all together – 10 each of Burnt Sugar, Espresso Chip, and Salted Rosemary.

Burnt Sugar (left) had quite the punch, I wasn’t expecting the hit of spice from fennel seeds. Salted Rosemary (top) sounded odd at first but turned out to be my favorite, with a hint of the herb and a light sprinkling of salt. Espresso Chip tasted like a cup of mocha, but in cookie form! These were all tasty and a sophisticated take on the classic.

Shotwell Candy Co. Bourbon & Maple Pecan Caramels are made with real ingredients like butter, cream, and maple syrup.

There were four individually wrapped caramels in the pouch and they were some of the best caramels I have ever tried! The bourbon and maple flavors were wonderful together and the touch of sea salt on top set it off beautifully.

Little Belgians Original Speculoos Cookies are another buttery shortbread type of cookie and are very popular these days.

I received four cookies in traditional shapes and they were a little broken up but still tasty. I’ve tried many different brands and this one is a little more flavorful than Biscoff, more like a gingersnap, or more precisely, a cinnamon-snap.

This was one of the best boxes I have received from Orange Glad – the cookies were all grown-up versions of traditional offerings, while the caramels were absolutely wonderful! I’m looking forward to fall flavors and this was a great start!
