Mine Chest is the one and only official subscription box for Minecraft fans! It is licensed by Mojang, and now operated by Loot Crate. This box is now a $39.99 bimonthly box, US shipping included.

Be sure to check out the theme spoilers and subscribe by the 15th for the next box!

You’ll get a box full of Minecraft inspired goodies and official merchandise. Boxes come with a t-shirt (with a full range of youth and adult sizes available) and are packed in a collectible and reusable box.

DEAL: Save 10% on your subscription with coupon code SAVE10!

The box transforms into this COOOL Tundra block! Every month has a different block pattern that fits the theme of the box. We like the look of the boxes so much that we can’t stand to part with them, so we have a two block wide tower of them up to the ceiling in the kids’ room!

Everything in the September box!

The theme of the September box was Secret of the Igloo! Boxes come with a cool lenticular postcard. When you tilt it, the characters shift a bit.

This serves as the info card, which is light on item details, but it’s just like getting a card from someone living in the mysterious world of Minecraft!

Snowy Sticker Scene – The sticker that’s included in this Minecraft box is a set of battling Snow Golems! One is intact, and the other you can build yourself.

Polar Bear Pin – The box includes this enameled Polar Bear pin. The Polar Bear is really a neutral character in the game, but becomes hostile to the player when attacked.

A very cute addition to the pin collection of Minecraft fans! The pins that come in Minechest are very good quality — they incorporated many shades to replicate the correct look of the subject. I like the way the silver border shows between each enamel panel.

Plush Spruce Log –  A soft and squishy plush based on the game block. Spruce log is one of the six species of wood found in the game, an essential building material.

Ocelot Scarf – Love this one! The design is simple yet it will warm you on cold days. It looks like the Minecraft version of a wolf’s pelt.

The outside has a mottled gray wolf’s fur pattern, and the interior is bright red — I think the interior color was chosen because it represents the default color of a tamed wolf’s collar, not because it’s a skinned pelt or anything. The material is very soft and warm, and the scarf is short enough for a child to wear without tripping over the ends. I love the little creeper patch they use as a label!

Zombie Villager & Villager With Potion Swirls T Shirt –  I love the color of this shirt. And it’s really comfy too.

The design on this shirt embodies the theme of this crate – Secrets of the Igloo! We see two figures, barely illuminated in the darkness of the hidden laboratory deep below the igloo’s carpeted floor. The ladder to the surface can be seen in the background, while a villager and zombie villager are shown with potion effects and the apple and potion needed to change them back and forth from villager and zombie states. Of all the secrets and hidden chambers one can discover in the updated game, I think the chamber beneath the igloo is the most disturbing!

The Minecraft box this month actually has a Halloween vibe to it, with the inclusion of the Zombie Villager shirt and the Snow Golem who looks like Jack’O Lantern. Every box celebrates a different aspect of the game – either a biome, beast, or survival activity, so the gear is always fresh and different. It’s a great fan subscription box and my kids are really excited when it shows up.
