Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription – get five makeup, beauty, skincare, and haircare items in a cute bag for $10 a month! It’s the most popular subscription box and a great way to sample new colors and beauty brands.

This month’s bag is a rose-printed lace maroon bag.

I love the bag details! So feminine!

Look at the Bat Zipper! It’s a cute detail, but as we’ve mentioned on Instagram a few times (and everyone has agreed!), it’s no Valfré (check out the stickers in the last NYLON box!).

Everything in my October bag.

There are many bag variations every month for ipsy –  log in to your account to check out how-to videos and tips for your products. They’ve also started emailing out product information and tips from their influencers!

Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in Perversion ($13.33) This pencil is 2/3 of the regular size!

I love UD’s perversion shade of black – I can always be guaranteed that it’s really black. Plus I love these wee pencils for use in front of a mirror – it gives me more room to maneuver. They’re nice and soft and set up well and don’t wear off easily.

Hey Honey Trick And Treat Active Propolis Cream Concealer ($17.07) This is a small sample, but over half size of a pricey product. It’s highly pigmented and covers well, and lucky me – matches my skintone really nicely. The bonus with this is the creamy texture so it doesn’t have the tendency to settle into fine lines.

Marc Anthony Hydrating Coconut Oil & Shea Butter Treatment  ($2.17) Larger than it appears – but hilariously, it’s for your hair. Even 1 drop would turn my super fine short hair into a soppy mess – I skipped trying this one entirely. Total dud for my profile. It does, however, smell like yummy tropical sunscreen.

First Aid Beauty Ultra Repair Cream ($5) This is a serious moisturizer and I love it! It has a light-ish texture despite being incredibly nourishing, plus it has ceramides to lend to its effectiveness.

IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Pores Pressed Powder ($9.67) This is about 1/3 the full size! Wow to that from a favorite brand!

This supersmooth finishing powder provides an excellent blurring effect with a silky matte finish, and minimizes the appearance of pores.  A great airbrushed effect while delivering an antiaging blend of silk, hydrolyzed collagen, antioxidants, and peptides!

The total value of my bag this month was about $47! Besides the total fail on the hair oil I thought this was a great bag and all the other items were perfect for me to try out, from brands that I totally love!

What did you get in your Ipsy this month?

I also got the Hey honey concealer. I also got the Urban Decay black eyeliner, and the Tarte Lifted mascara, which I had been wanting to try. I got the BioRepublic sheet masks, and the MDMflow liquid matte lipstick. I really liked everything!
