iBbeautiful is a subscription box for teen and tween girls with inspiring accessory and beauty products, plus a positive message! iBbeautiful wants to help girls be confident, smart, brave, unique, and kind. You can choose either tween (8-12 years old) or teen (13+). You also can choose between a basic box (no tee) for $20/month or a graphic tee box for $30/month.
This review features the Teen basic box for September. I reviewed this box with the help of my daughters, aged 12 and 15. Since it was the teen box, my older daughter got first dibs – and she loved nearly everything in the box! (Don’t feel bad for my younger daughter – when we review a tween box, she gets first dibs.) I would say that generally both girls love the teen box and the tween box is always a hit for my younger daughter… and not infrequently a hit with my older daughter too. Both girls just love iBbeautiful boxes!
As a mom, my favorite part of iBbeautiful is the messaging. On the inside of the box lid is a placard that provides the theme of the box — this month is “I can totally do this!” This month’s box if chock full of affirmations, reminding my daughters just how much they can do. I love it! Additionally, as soon as you open the box, there is an full-color, beautifully designed information postcard in each box that also speaks to the month’s message. My girls have more than one of these postcards from past boxes displayed in their rooms. (Most are pretty enough to frame!)

Natural Life Car Magnet ($7.50): What a fun way to display this month’s theme – a colorful car magnet. Of course, my 15-year old first was puzzled… after all, she doesn’t have a car yet, right? The iBbeautiful folks were thinking ahead, because there was a helpful little sticker on the magnet’s packaging suggesting that the magnet could be “put in your locker for a daily reminder.” Smart!
Natural Life Boho Bandeau ($13): Both of my daughters love these hair bands – I was so happy to see one in this month’s teen box, as my tween had opted to keep the one in last month’s tween box. Now, both girls have one of these awesome bandeaus. With winter on it’s way, it’s also cool that these bandeaus are lined with fleece, making them a great hat/balaclava/scarf too. Awesome!
Suatelier Nail Stickers: These totally adorable stickers can be used as nail deco (which my younger daughter is totally into) or for calendars and planners, which is more up my teen daughter’s alley. Either way, these are super cute…with all the smiley faces, you can’t help but smile yourself.
Natural Life Recycled Zip Pouch ($8): This little pouch is perfect for carrying around money or IDs… and is made out of recycled materials, which is even more cool. (This particular one doesn’t seem to be available anymore, but there are pouches like it at the Natural Life website – super cute!)
L.A. Girl Lip Stick ($4): So, the item is actually this really pretty light pink lipstick perfect for teens… but my girls and I also love the message card that was included in the bag with the lipstick. “She believed she could so she did.” LOVE! Anyway, the lipstick is also great!
Message Necklace: We love love love this necklace. The larger pendant has that phrase written in pretty script, while the smaller pendant has a bird. This necklace is just so perfect and is a great everyday reminder to my girls. And the little card included with this item – “Be the girl who decided to go for it.” Top notch.
This box was absolutely awesome. The items were huge hits with both of my girls and the message was one that we are constantly talking about in our house. Besides the great messaging, I also love how useful everything is – this isn’t a box where half of the items will get thrown away or sit on a shelf gathering dust. My girls love AND use these things!
