Geek Fuel Monthly Mystery Box is filled with all kinds of geek surprises. It’s a geek & gamer subscription box with at least $40 worth of geek accessories and apparel with exclusive games, toys, gear, collectibles, and all things epic. This box always includes a Steam game code.

TIP: You can still get this exact box – the Geek Fuel home page will always tell you what box is currently shipping!

The September 2017 box brought items from Batman, Stranger Things, and more. Let’s get into what was in this box!

DEAL: You’ll save $5 on your first box with this link – no code needed!

The description card gives you a rundown of what is in the box and also where to follow Geek Fuel on social media.

Each box comes with a mini-mag with features about current geek topics plus a gift guide. The cover is in 3D.

Check out the ViewFinder 3D glasses it comes with.

Box of Waffles? – Something tells me there may be more to this.

Eleven of Waffles T-Shirt – The first item in the Waffle Box is a t-shirt that looks like a playing card with Eleven from Stranger Things, along with the beast from the Upside Down.

Eleven Waffle Air Freshener – It doesn’t smell great. I was hoping it would have smelled like maple syrup.

The final item came in a box addressed to the sheriff.

The box was cut up. Was that on purpose?

Mornings are for Coffee and Contemplation Mug – This is a nice addition to a coffee mug collection.

Death by Gameshow – $10 – The game is full of strategy and silly pop culture references.

Welcome to Death by Game Show. A game of pop culture, decision making chaos and hidden parodies starring U.H.Wutt. A lead-footed tub of goo sentenced to rehabilitation in a time of droid tyranny and human ignorance.

Become the smarts behind Wutt’s rehabilitation, or as the fine print calls it “kidnap-come-illegal-trial-leading-to-banishment-and-death-sentence”. Fight back against the tyranny, free the minds of humanity and find freedom-for-all!

  • Twitch Strategy – Death by Game Show puts survival and success into your own hands. It’s not about power but how resourceful and reactive you can be. Can you think your way to victory?
  • The Learning Curve – Anyone can spawn a droid but can you do it while grabbing coins? …placing buildings? …spinning for loot? …dodging attacks? Can you react decisively and win?
  • Customization – You can modify the game’s text, give the droids a paint job and build your own levels. Can you make and share the best via the workshop and win a prize?
  • Story delivery – In Death by Game Show the story is told through short social exchanges, battlecries and hidden messages. Can you cut through the BS and find the truth?
  • Satire – Death by Game Show is about fictional characters, in a fictional show within a fictional universe based on our satirical view of modern day life. Meanings, metaphors and parodies are everywhere but will you spot them?

Pac-Bat Magnets – I like this fun magnet set. Batman, Joker, Catwoman, Riddler and The Penguin in the style of Pac-Man, Blinky, Pinky, Inky and Clyde.

Epic Enamels – Pins from the Crypt – I like the cleverness of the pin packaging as of late from Geek Fuel. This month looks like a box for an old VHS Cassette.

Inside, there’s another box but it looks like a blood spattered VHS tape. At least they were kind enough to rewind.

I lucked out and got the exact pin I wanted. Jason!

Geek Fuel did a terrific job putting this box together for October 2017 and I look forward to what will be coming up next month! If you loved this box, it’s still available!
