Disney Treasures is a bi-monthly official Disney subscription box produced by Funko in partnership with Disney. Disney Treasures features the most memorable Disney movie and parks moments and every box is filled with 100% exclusive Disney collectibles and accessories created by Funko for Disney fans and collectors. It’s the Happiest Subscription Box on Earth!

Funko also produces the Marvel Collector Corps BoxSmuggler’s Bounty (Star Wars), and DC Legion of Collectors.

Here are the available plans (+ $6.95 shipping):

  • Traveler: Pay as you go plan, $30 per box every other month.
  • Adventurer: 6 month plan, $29 per box for 3 boxes. Including an exclusive Adventurer pin!
  • Pioneer: 12 month plan, $28 per box for 6 boxes. Including an exclusive Pioneer pin with the first box and an exclusive collectible anniversary gift at the end of the year.

When you open the box, you will be greeted with a patch and a pin (like all the other Funko boxes) plus a fun map!

Underneath the patch & pin are a variety of passport-like stamps marking what look like premiere dates for various movies or opening dates for various attractions – they sort of match up but don’t quite align with what I found online, so I’m not precisely sure what they’re meant to be. [We are waiting for an answer to this question from the Disney Archives.]

Oh, the places we’ll go!

Everything in the box!

The information sheet is a fun map detailing the creation process for the individual items, plus fun insider notes from the Disney Archives. The Haunted Forest characters aren’t that spooky at all!

Love the trivia on the map — it’s all brought together by one of the Disney archivists!

Haunted Forest Sticker. A sticker matching the one on the outside of the box was included in our stash.

Magic Mirror Patch – “Mirror, mirror on the wall, who’s the fairest of them all?” All the patches from the first year of boxes fit together to frame a final secretive patch (and I hate to say I told you so, but I did, and this box is entirely sold out).

Jafar Pin – This pin features Jafar, the main antagonist from Aladdin. It also has the signature Mickey pin back that you’ll find on any official Disney pin.

Zero Tote Bag – This handy bag is made of canvas and features Zero, Jack Skellington’s ghost-dog.

Isn’t it the cutest?! Can’t wait to use this tote bag for Halloween! Plus, it glows in the dark!

The Hatbox Ghost – This tin container has a spooky but cool vibe…

…and inside it is a Hatbox Ghost figure!

The Hatbox Ghost is an animatronic character found at the Haunted Mansion in Disneyland.

Welcome foolish mortals, to the first translucent mystery mini in a Funko box!

Did you know that there was a time when the Hatbox Ghost had to be removed from the attraction in Disneyland because of complaints that he’s too scary? Anyway, this figure here is definitely not scary, but cute!

It looks even cooler when illuminated, as it becomes almost transparent!

Dorbz Disney Treasures Cruella De Vil Vinyl Figure – Remember the villain from 101 Dalmatians? It’s Cruella De Vil!

The box includes illustrations of other Dorbz Disney figures.

Hide your pups, Cruella’s coming!

Well, I must say Cruella looked less evil here! So cute!

Of course, they included the detail of her iconic hair color partition in the figure.

The detailing is great. And really, Cruella looks cute here instead of terrifying. Glad to have her in our Dorbz collection!

Funko Pop Disney Maleficent Vinyl Figure: I have to admit that when we posted the spoilers I really didn’t notice that this was a six inch Maleficent. She’s magnificent!

The box features Maleficent’s dark dragon form from the animated film, Sleeping Beauty. The swirls on the box are from the curtains from the Castle. SO much detail. We wouldn’t have ever noticed it except that we got a lithograph in our Disney Movie Club order from the Prince kissing Beauty scene, and we were a little perplexed by the copyright date on it, and going back we determined that the particular scene was zoomed in, and not actually in the film (and the curtain pattern was different than the film). I digress!

Now that’s scary!

Look at the horns and that tail!

Even from the back, you will see the impressive workmanship on this figure.

The dragon looks like she’s ready to breathe fire!

The tail has cool details too!

With the horns she stands at almost 7″. A really good take on Maleficent’s other form. I feel like they could do a Maleficent subscription and it would sell out every box.

Amazing box from Disney Treasures! I keep on thinking this or that is the pinnacle by which I’m going to have to compare future boxes, and this one is it! The THREE vinyl figures are awesome, and I really liked the tote bag because it’s cute and useful. Plus, Disney and Funko covered all the major bases with Maleficent & Haunted Mansion. Now I can really feel that Halloween is nearing! Have a spooktacular one!

FYI – the back of the map has the next theme. We’re going to Snowflake Mountain this December! And it looks like Bambi will be in the box. FYI – Funko expects this box to sell out too.
