Craftly is a bimonthly subscription box that sends 4 high-quality, small-batch products. It’s $29.95 and shipping is free to the U.S. You also have the option to send this as a gift. The subscription will automatically renew until you cancel. What can you expect to receive in your Craftly box?

We send a combination of 100% cruelty-free and vegan beauty products for women, grooming products for men, healthy teas and snacks, personal accessories, and home accessories. Each box comes with 4 full and deluxe-sized items centered around a specific theme.

NOTE: Craftly’s website is shut down for maintenance and upkeep so I wasn’t able to see if there was any new info to share or what changes are being made.

Craftly is sent every other month and you can choose from either the men’s or women’s box. The men’s box will include grooming products, while the women’s box will contain beauty products. Keep your eyes open – Craftly plans on offering a beauty box in the future!

The theme for September/October was Evening Calm.

The product information card gave a description of the items included, retail price, and where to find more.

Everything in my box!

1 Hour Break Kava Spray ($29) “1Hour Break® quickly relieves symptoms of stress & anxiety so you can live your best life.”

1hr Break contains Kava root extract, lemon balm, passion flower, and lobelia extracts for their calming and relaxing effects on the body.

This product came with a brochure and a coupon to share with a friend so they can get a free bottle. I received mint but there are two other flavors available. You spray about 10 times under the tongue and then supposedly will feel relaxed without feeling drowsy. It tasted minty and medicinal, and left my mouth and tongue tingling, like when the shot you received for a dental procedure wears off. I can’t say that it helped me relax, but it’s worth a try.

Taking a warm bath is a tried and true way to relax. Dirty Mermaid Beauty Autumn Sea Soak ($6) can help get you there.

It’s made with a blend of Dead Sea salt, seaweed, and essential oils, including patchouli and ylang ylang, two of my favorites!

The scent is certainly patchouli, so this mermaid is also a hippie chick. The salts are pretty big so make sure to swish it all around the tub before you get in. Or sit down and THEN add the salts.

URB APOTHECARY Slumber Serum ($22) may help ease anxiety or promote restful sleep. Just rub on temples, wrists, neck, wherever, and breathe deeply. Whether the relaxing effect is due to the herbs, or simply taking cleansing breaths, I’m not sure. Maybe a combo of both!

Sunflower oil is infused with chamomile, lavender, hops, and calendula and then they add jojoba oil, essential oils, and “good energy.” I was surprised at how minty fresh this stuff was – I usually think of peppermint as a revitalizing scent. Smells good!

Free Love Beauty Moonchild Restorative Oil ($14) is a blend of organic pomegranate seed oil, organic hemp seed oil, organic jojoba oil, lavender essential oil, and tocopherol (non-GMO). This stuff is highly concentrated and smells like lavender.

The oil can be used on the face, body, hair, or nails. A few drops can be mixed with an unscented oil or lotion to help the bottle last longer or to keep it from smelling too strong. I applied it and my skin absorbed it quickly. I’m looking forward to seeing if it helps relieve redness on my face.

I loved trying products from new-to-me companies in this month’s Craftly box! The products are always high quality and enjoyable. My box had a value of $71! Craftly sends awesome beauty products and I was so excited to find THREE of them in this box! I think Craftly is trying to see exactly where they fit into the subscription box business and they have undergone several changes in the past couple of years. Craftly offers consistently good, useful, well-made items that anyone who likes finely crafted products will appreciate.

Sadly it looks like Craftly is on a “break” per email sent to their subscribers. I received an immediate refund but was so bummed as this is one of my favorite boxes. Hope they come back soon!

Amy, thanks for the heads up! No wonder I couldn’t get any info from their site. I love what they have been sending since the beginning of the year and I hope they can get everything worked out!
