New members of the A-Team!

The back of the card details all the items and describes why they’re amazing!

The Birchbox Limited Edition Meet The Latest and Greatest Box includes:

Sorbus Cosmetics Organizer – spotted on ebay for $13 – see this more elaborate one on Amazon for $20

This is my third such organizer (the other two I have are slightly different). I admit – I’m an addict. I love keeping all the products i’m testing out at my desk, or my lipbalm close at hand, or my hand cream, or my eye cream… You get the point!

TONYMOLY Kiss Kiss Lovely Lip Patches in Berry, Honey, and Mint ($13.50)

These lip masks are great for recovering from ultra-drying matte lipsticks!

Each has its own fab flavor – strawberry, mint, or honey.

After 20 minutes your lips feel soft and smooth again (the mint is tingly!). They’re a bit slippery but after they dry out a bit, they stay put!

STARSKIN The Master Cleanser Mask Detoxing Sea Kelp Leaf Face Mask ($15)

This detoxing mask is in two pieces for the absolute perfect fit! It’s purifying and hydrating with fermented chlorella, soybeans, centella asiatica, licorice root, and bamboo with 25 ml of serum – there was enough to really spread it around. I loved that this pricey mask had a foaming face wash included to make sure your skin was nice and clean and ready for essence.

Vasanti Brighten Up! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator ($8) One of any subscription box addict’s absolute favorite products, it exfoliates and brightens and it’s so many people’s grail product. This microexfoliator is in the “greatest” category for sure.

Clarins Hydra-Essentiel Silky Cream – Normal to Dry ($11.76) This was silky and moisturized well, but was heavily scented, so I decided to use it to use it on areas of my body besides my face.

OUAI Dry Shampoo Foam ($12) what a unique delivery method for dry shampoo! No crunchies – I think it must be tried! This is one of the reasons I picked up this box! I know Pantene has a drugstore version out now but… I cannot say no to Ouai – one of my fave hair brands. This has terrible reviews on Sephora but it worked fine on my hair. Then again my hair is fine, but not super straight, and definitely not greasy.

R+Co TROPHY Shine + Texture Spray ($29) And here’s the other reason! It’s rare that hair items drive my purchasing decisions but since these are both made for finer straighter hair I was all over them.

This spray adds texture, volume, and shine with a lovely scent. It uses clay to balance the hair and a light amount of natural oils for shine.

M·A·C Cosmetics Matte Lipstick in Chili ($9?)

This little deluxe sample is perfect to clap in a handbag for a night out. The formula is a dark brick and going to match so many skin tones. It has a matte finish but isn’t dry at all.

Stila Cosmetics Magnificent Metals Glitter & Glow Liquid Eye Shadow in Kitten Karma ($4.69)

So cute! I think these liquid glitter shadows are just the perfect way to get glitter on the lids without making a giant mess. The color on this one is gorgeous – swatched below.

Benefit Cosmetics GALifornia Sunny Golden Pink Blush ($15)

This blush is really heavily pigmented so a little will go a long way – I felt a little relieved it wasn’t full size. I do think it’s a great flush color for holiday parties with a hint of golden shimmer.

Two sets of swatches so you can see the light on the shadow!

MakeupDrop The Original Silicone Makeup Applicator ($20) And if you haven’t tried a silicone makeup applicator, this is a must-have!

It doesn’t waste your makeup and it’s anti-microbial. That being said, just because this is the first one and has a brand name doesn’t mean the product performs any differently from the scores of knock offs that you can get as low as $3 each. They should have filed a patent application.

Pick two samples:

L’Oreal Mythic Oil ($1.75?)

N.4 High Performance Hair Care Lumiere d’hiver Clarifying Shampoo ($2.06)

I came up with $151 for this box (not including my sample pack), which is the closest I’ve ever calculated a Birchbox limited edition value to the claimed amount, which was $153.
