The August theme was Under the Sea. Sounds kind of fishy to me. My cats names were listed on the card – Zoey is a 6-year-old tabby and Sunny is an 1 year old orange tabby and they are both female cats that we adopted from our local animal shelter.
The Meow Menu is a cute information card set up as a menu. The prices reflect retail plus shipping because WhiskerBox includes products not available in local shops.

Only 1 Ingredient Cat Treats OK, so there’s two ingredients in here – beef and salmon, but I get what they’re saying. My cats sniffed it and pushed it around on the floor but then left it alone. I think it was too hard for them to eat.
Wysong Nurture with Quail Canine/Feline Formula was a hit with both of my cats! This is seriously my favorite part of this subscription and my cats love every flavor of Wysong that has been sent. Bonus: if you have a dog, they can eat this product too!

Patchwork Pet Organic Catnip Sushi Toy is very cute and of course anything fish related is perfect for this month’s theme.
The Cat Pantry Organic Catnip Fish Tail Toy is a pretty blue color and has polyester fiberfill and organic catnip inside.
I took about 50 pictures of Zoey with these toys on her body and she never so much as moved.
Cat Couture Red Stripes Nautical Outfit I couldn’t find this one on the internet but the pictures that turn up when I’m looking are always interesting! The buttons and emblem are nice touches on this sailor suit.
There were three snaps on the underside and two armholes. Luckily there were no leg holes so it was pretty easy to put on my cats.
Build-A-Bear seemed to like it just fine.

I thought the costume was cute this month and bravo to WhiskerBox for making it one that was easy to place on the cats! The theme was cute and the products played along perfectly. I like that I can try a new food treat or toy without having to buy in bulk, in case my cats dislike the proffered product. I think WhiskerBox is a great choice for people who like to dress up their cats (and whose cats like being dressed up), provide them with unique toys, and treat them to delectable foods that you might not find in stores.
