Vegan Cuts Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription service that sends 4-7 items ranging from unique cosmetics to luxurious skin care. Best of all, they are 100% cruelty-free and vegan, plus most items are natural and non-toxic! Monthly recurring shipments are $22.95 with free shipping in the USA (there is an additional charge for other countries). This sub is also available in 6 or 12-month terms that do not renew but that do earn you a discount.

Vegan Cuts doesn’t offer customization and sends items that are suitable for almost everyone. They promise not to send foundation or other items that match a specific skin tone and instead send makeup items that are as inclusive as possible with possible variations in shades. They also promise a value of at least $30 but have sent boxes that are significantly above that mark. Vegan Cuts sends deluxe “travel” sized or full-sized products and rarely sends single use packets.

There was a product information card that included a coupon code for a shop purchase and info on how you can win a free box by sharing your box on social media.

The flip side of the card listed each item and the retail value. September 2017 box theme is Primp and Pamper!

Everything in my box!

I will have to pass along Everyday Botanicals Natural & Curly Hair Nourishment Oil ($4.56) to someone at work, since my hair is stick straight and fine. It smells wonderful, thanks to all of those moisturizing oils and herbal extracts. Massage the oil into clean, damp hair and either fluff and go or blow-dry and style as usual.

Hempz Triple Moisture Herbal Whipped Body Crème ($3.70) OOHH, I like Hempz body lotions, they always smell so gooood! This one smells like candy or grape soda but it’s supposed to be peach and grapefruit. It absorbed quickly and left a scent for a couple of hours.

I love the pink color of Terre Mère Cosmetics Mineral Blush in Lychee ($14.40). It has a sifter top and I just shake some into the lid and then dip my brush in the powder.

The color is pretty light but buildable. Here it is swatched on my inner arm. I have light colored skin so this works well for my coloring.

Derma•E Purifying Daily Detox Scrub ($1.78) is a nice scrub that didn’t irritate my skin and can be used every day. Apricot seed powder is the scrubby stuff here while seaweed and bladderwrack provide antioxidants and protection from environmental assaults.

I received Gaffer & Child Facial Cleanser ($26) in another beauty box and it has become my daily cleanser! I use three pumps of this watery cleanser in the morning to get my skin going. In the evening, I first use an oil-based cleanser to remove makeup and then use 5 pumps of this peppermint and lavender infused cleanser to get the rest of the gunk off of my face.

The September Vegan Cuts Beauty Box had 5 products from a variety of beauty categories – I love when that happens! I wasn’t too thrilled with the hair oil, but perhaps we will receive something for us fine-haired subscribers in the future? This box had a value of around $50.44, which is more than twice the price paid for the box!
