The Target Art & Craft Kit is a monthly art & craft subscription for kids ages 6-10. You’ll receive a different pre-packaged crafting activity each month shipped from Target for $14.99.

Like the previous months, we received a single commercially available craft kit.

The Crayola Spin Art Maker retails for $19.99 at Target.

TIPS: Use your Target Red Card for a discount. Plus, be sure to subscribe to the kit for an additional 5% off!

This craft kit has everything you need to make spin art – without batteries and without building a spinner yourself.

The side of the box shows how easy it is – pump, drip, and done!

Everything in the kit!

An included booklet had techniques and instructions for using the kit. We wished it would be a bit more kid friendly.

The spin art maker is easy to use. You pump the button and it spins.  There are little tabs to hold the included paper.

There are 10 discs plus a template. We actually have a similar item except it’s a Spirograph- like toy that my kids have used for years – it’s really no problem at all to make more round papers with the template.

Also included are Crayola washable paints in primary colors plus 3 white crayons.

So easy that my 3 year old can put it together.

My kids took turns making spin art and had a great time.   Btw that’s chocolate ice cream on his shirt, not paint. However – my daughter stained a brand new shirt with the red paint and it came right out.

The kids colored on the discs before using the machine for fun resist art effects.

We also figured out you can spin and drip at the same time if you set it up right.

My 3 year old preferred to do all the dripping and then the spinning.

Turns out that works too!

As you might be able to tell my kids were so excited by spin art we didn’t have time to clean the table up from everything else that was going on (and hey those cupcakes were amazing!). All 3 of our kids loved this kit and it wasn’t too young or too old as some past kits have been – and it wasn’t gender specific either. We were happy with this month and we even saved a few bucks by getting the kit via the subscription. This was a make or break month for us so we are looking at this subscription for another month.

Did you grab a Target Art & Craft Kit this month? Let me know what you thought!
