Mugler Addict is Thierry Mugler’s quarterly subscription box. Mugler is the creator of Angel and other fragrances and with this box you’ll receive deluxe and trial sizes of Thierry Mugler must-haves and new fragrance creations delivered to your doorstep.

We’re reviewing this box again, thanks to reader demand!

A short note from The MUGLER Team.

I can’t wait to see what they’ve included this summer.

The information card gives you a list of all the items in the box.

Everything in my box!

Bonus! Mugler Passport Cover ($3?)

This is a nice passport holder or even loyalty card/coupon holder for restaurants. I’m going to use mine to corral those sorts of things in the car.

Alien Eau Sublime EDT ($1.64) This version of Alien has notes of mandarin, orange, galbanum, jasmine, tiare flower, heliotrope, cashmeran wood, and white amber – but I can’t help but feel when it goes on that it smells a little menthol-y? The idea is that it’s luminizing and refreshing!

This one is supposed to be sunshiney and gold and cashmere-ish, and it’s really not my style, but a nice option for Mugler lovers that tend towards those warmer, woody scents!

A*Men Eau de Toilette ($1) From Tom:

A bit unusual for a men’s EDT, as it has a bit of a sweet vanilla frosting tone to it. It has a gentle incense scent which I read as most similar to opium, plus some dry woodiness balancing the sweet. Very powdery and sweet, this is best for occasions when you want a fragrance that is not overly assertive or overtly masculine.

Back to Brandy – it’s a little odd to have a men’s fragrance in the box! It’s definitely masculine but it’s worth trying out if you’re fond of the Angel scent profiles, but personally I don’t like scents to be overly woody, so I passed this one to Tom!

Les Exceptions Woodissime Eau De Perfum ($5) This provide an interesting contrast to A-Men. It’s a women’s perfume but it’s quite woody.

The notes are Oud wood and osmanthus flower.

This inclusion was disappointing – the information card said it was Hot Cologne, which is citrusy and much lighter. But it did have the unique benefit of having that contrast against the men’s scent.

Angel Muse Eau De Parfum ($11.90) With fragrance notes of grapefruit, pink peppercorn, hazelnut cream, vetiver, and patchouli it’s no surprise that I’m in love with this version of Angel!

The mini bottle is totally gorgeous in a soft peach color. It’s sweet with almost a cocoa scent due to the hazelnut and despite it being a summer box, I think this one is great for fall.

Alien Radiant Body Cream ($6.61)

The little swirl on this sample is pretty delightful. Just tickled my fancy. It’s a shimmery lilac and I doubt it makes my skin any more radiant than normal, I smell radiant!

The value for this quarter’s box was much better than the last – about $29! It was a relief to have the mini back, and I think every box should have a fancy mini in it – otherwise the value (both retail and perceived) just isn’t there for me. This quarter was good though, even with the 2 too-woodsy for me fragrances because I liked everything else, and it’s so inexpensive.
