Love with Food is a fun snack discovery subscription available in three versions: Tasting Box, Deluxe (family size), and Gluten-Free. They also offer an Office Plan for sharing with your co-workers. I shared these snacks with my family of 3 (sometimes 4 when my daughter is home from college.) What sets this subscription apart?

  • No artificial flavoring, coloring, or MSG
  • No trans fats and hydrogenated oils
  • No high fructose corn syrup
  • Snacks are natural, organic or gluten-free

FYI, you can see our reviews of all 3 varieties of Love With Food boxes here.

DEAL: You can try out Love With Food by using this link to get your first Deluxe Box for $5 off or get your first Classic Size Box for $7.99. You can also save 25% on your first Gluten-Free box by using this link. As always, Love With Food donates meals to charity with each box purchased.

Use coupon code FB3 when you buy a 3- month tasting box plan for just $13.50 – TOTAL!

Love with Food’s theme for September was Ready Set Go! There were a couple of discount codes on the card and it tells how you can win a special box when you share pictures on social media. If you want to know more about the snacks in your box then you can go to the website and see which snacks are gluten-free, kosher, vegan, etc. You can find this month’s info here.

There were several handouts this month with info on some of the products and even a couple of coupons.

Everything in my box! I love to grab a snack from the box and stick it in my tote without a second thought. No Ziplocs needed and I don’t have to worry about change for the vending machine.

Pasta isn’t on our menu this week but I am looking forward to trying Barilla Gluten Free Fettucine to see how it compares to regular fettucine. No one in our house is allergic to gluten but sometimes it’s nice to try something different.

I received two bags of POPCORNERS Original White Cheddar. These were good and chewy/crispy with a tangy cheesey flavor.

Harvest Snaps Lightly Salted Snapea Crisps I was a little surprised at this snack. I thought this was something like freeze-dried snap peas but it turned out to be a CHIP shaped and colored like a snap pea! They were a little bland for my tastes.

Bobalu Nuts Tajin Out-of-Shell Almonds I had to throw these away because they were rancid and nasty. They are supposed to be seasoned with the same stuff I sprinkle on watermelon and pineapple, but I literally spit it out.

Welch’s Fruit Rolls in Berry and Strawberry went straight to my daughter. I was spoiled as a child – my mom made homemade fruit leather in flavors such as loquat, so these hold no appeal to me but Karina liked them and they are naturally colored.

Now this is a snack I can really sink my teeth into! The GFB Gluten Free Bites in Dark Chocolate Coconut are very tasty and are made with dates, chocolate, coconut, and pea protein. They are delicious!

Cinn-Credible Cinnamon Packets are packed with 1/2 tsp of pure cinnamon and are ready to take wherever you need them. I plan on sprinkling it into the hot chocolate I received in this box. Florida Candy Factory All Natural Salt Water Taffy uses striped wrapping to differentiate between their flavors, since they don’t use food coloring. I received one orange and one vanilla and they were very sweet.

Lotus Biscoff Cookie One tiny cookie was all that was in this bag. It has a crispy texture and is sort of like a cross between a graham cracker and shortbread. Bali’s Best Green Tea Latte Candy was sweet and creamy and almost caramel-like. I thought it would be weird but it was pretty good!

Monbana Chocolat Salon de Thé is hot chocolate mix – just add hot milk and stir. I am saving this to drink on a cold day this fall.

I’m going to skip Think Thin High Protein Smoothie Mix in Blueberry Banana because it has stevia in it and I haven’t had any luck with stevia in the past. It has a protein blend that includes almonds, plus dried fruit, chia & flaxseeds, and chicory root fiber.

I’m usually pretty happy with my Love With Food boxes but this one seemed off this month. There were several very small items that didn’t amount to much of a snack, and the nuts were horrible. I guess this month’s items just weren’t my favorite types of snacks. Also, lately they have been including items such as pasta and rice that are not really snacks, and I think I prefer just snacks in my snack box. I appreciate the fact that Love with Food sends items that can be enjoyed by everyone, including young children. If you review your items for points and have an annual subscription it brings down the cost of the box, plus the coupon codes add to the value. Of course, you can always buy the items individually or in bulk but I prefer the convenience of having a variety of snacks to choose from. Love With Food donates meals to charity with each box purchased.
