The theme for the September 2017 Loot For Her was ROBOTIC!

Star Trek: The Next Generation Boyfriend Cardigan

Like the Loot Tees subscription the women’s shirts are much more true to size in the past, although anything in Loot for Her (as opposed to Loot Tees) might run smaller.

I sized up this subscription because I’m pregnant and I wanted some good stuff to wear (as opposed to saving for later).  This wearable in particular is very very large, easily several sizes larger than true to size. In particular, the sleeves are insane. I had to ask Loot Crate for a replacement down to a size large on this. I’m terrified it will be too small for next month’s amazing Loot for Her, but at least I can wear it post baby. Anyways, I found the sizing quite odd, given the fact that September’s Core Crate t-shirt was several sizes small.

The design though, is ON POINT. Traditional boyf cardi looks in yellow – just like Data’s engineering uniform.

TNG communicator embroidered on the front.

And Data snuggling with Spot on the back!

The information card notes that the graphic is from Anna-Maria Jung, the illustrator of Star Trek: Redshirt’s Little Book of Doom!

I’m not crazy about the graphic but the allure of Spot & Data is undeniable, I just think it would have gone better on a shirt (the cardigan didn’t need a sccreenprint at all!). Won’t stop me from wearing it once my replacement comes in!

Hi, does yours fit in the sleeves? Mine was ridiculously short and tight. I asked for a replacement and it is the same.

I dont have the replacement yet but this was sized so large that I can’t really say. They have a great handle on shirt to shirt sizing right now, but for different types of women’s apparel, it’s all over the place.

My bodice is sized huge as well, but my sleeves are super short and tight. I have no idea who this was sewn for.

HM Maybe they messed up the sleeves on a particular batch of a particular size? I still have the too big cardi but I don’t even have to grab it to tell you that the sleeves were sized along with the body, I remember remarking on it specifically to my husband!
