The Honest Company has agreed to settle litigation regarding claims related to SLS in its products, creating a 1.55 million dollar settlement fund. Honest Company denies all the allegations, but nevertheless, if you’ve bought Honest Company products, you may be eligible for a check or store credit refund. This one has a more involved calculation regarding claims payouts than the labeling settlement, which we posted about a few weeks ago.
The class includes: All persons residing in the United States who purchased, and did not subsequently return, Honest Multi-Surface Cleaner (regular and concentrate), Honest Dish Soap (regular and concentrate, all scents) or Honest Laundry Detergent between January 17, 2012 and August 2, 2017.
FYI – if you’ve purchased Honest Company direct, check your email for this address: [email protected]. Mine was in SPAM. Your email will have a claim and confirmation code, and your information, including the eligible amount, will be PREFILLED.
Bottom line – If you DON’T have receipts and purchased the eligible products you can claim up to 10 of those products. If you DO have receipts, enter them, and even better if you used Honest Company online check your email/spam for your class action noticed.
