Snack Fever is a monthly subscription box that delivers all your favorite Korean snacks, as well as other hard-to-find Korean treats. Each month, subscribers will get 5 to 12 Korean snacks and treats, depending on their subscription.

Snack Fever is available in three boxes, the mini box, the original box, and the deluxe box, and subscriptions are $14, $25, and $42, respectively, every month. This is the Original Box!

DEAL: Save $3 off your first box (Mini, Original, Deluxe). Use coupon code HELLOSUB3.

Snack Fever boxes are themed – the August box is all about Snack 2 School!

The info cards add cultural flavor – and the word of the month!

Everything in my August Box! This month we got a bonus Kakao Friends swag items!

Snack Fever has been sending small lifestyle goodies with the boxes too. I think it’s great – they tend to be more gender neutral & less cutesy than your typical kawaii fare.

Still cute – just in a different way!

Jay One Aloe Drink: This is a really large beverage – 16.9 oz – with two servings.

It ha aloe vera gel, powder, and is sweetened with sugar – and fortified with vitamins b6, b12, and c.

Shin Ramyun: Nice chewy noodles, wonderful “gourmet spicy” flavor – it’s one of the most popular ramyuns for a reason!

This one is made for the US market and is actually easy to find, so I wasn’t super wowed but still – if you haven’t tried this and are for some reason still eating US grocery store ramen you can stop now. Now that Snack Fever has moved to Korea, I can’t wait to see what we get!

Crown Defcorn Sweet & Spicy: These puffy corn chips have a typical sweet & spicy flavor.

I think they taste like sweet chili sauce. YUM! They have a great crunch too! This ends the portion of the box where I actually get to eat things – my family is insane over this box and the kids demolish it every time (especially my 3 year old).

Kassak Crispy Stick

These sticks have a wheaty wholegrain-ish flavor, with a chocolate coating on the inside!

They were so good – and with so much chocolate they went fast!

Lotte Koala’s March

This is a kids’ snack but honestly I don’t know any adults who don’t like it. It has a game on the top of the lid.

But mostly cute little koala!

Every one is filled with a firm and tasty strawberry coating.

Fresh Pie – Fresh Berry

Korean whoopie pies, pretty much! These were unusual because of the berry flavored filling. Just the right amount of cake to filling and we shared, but there are 5 of us, so there may have been some squabbling, because they were just really so tasty.

Rice Cake Cookie

Eh, this is my one disappointment. These crumbly cookies are a mess – both literally and figuratively.

They are crumbly and messy – but the contrast of the too crumbly cookie with the gummy inside just isn’t good. And while we’re talking about not good, it just doesn’t even taste good. Snack Fever – stop sending these.

Green Hard Candy

Hard Melon candy – usually a few pieces of hard candy in every box.

Overall a great box but I’m definitely tired of those rice cookies – its disappointing to have a sweet repeated that just doesn’t taste good (a savory item that I can’t wrap my palate around would be another story but how do you mess up a cookie?). But that was a minimal part of this box, and surprisingly there are pretty few repeats. It really is going to be exciting to see what they send out with improved access to snack foods right from the source!
