Yogi Surprise is a yoga-inspired monthly subscription box designed to complement your way of living. Each monthly box contains 6-8 products picked by experienced yogis to complement your yoga practice and your life! It’s like getting a care package every month!

DEAL: Take 15% off your membership for life! Use coupon code HELLOYOGI.

Everything in the box.

August’s theme is Giving Back. To celebrate and encourage the act of giving, every item in this month’s box comes from an organization that supports a related cause. Also, a portion of the proceeds this month will be donated to the Africa Yoga Project. It makes me happy to know that this box will make a bit of an impact for a lot of people!

This month’s packing list not only tells us what are the items, but also what is the organizations benefiting from them.

Yogi Surprise Yoga Sequence Series Card. Every month, you receive a little card with a sequence of poses to celebrate the month’s theme.

I love getting these sequences! This month, we are connecting with ourselves to inspire the desire to give back to people or group that are meaningful to you. I carry my sequence cards in my yoga bag for when inspiration is a problem! Fun fact: you can download all the previous sequence cards on the yogi surprise website so you can have your own little inspiration book!

If you share your Yogi Surprise photo on social media, you are automatically entered to win a Yoga Retreat.

Peaceful Warrior Pouch ($24). This item was one of the spoilers. This pouch is big! Make-up, brush, skin care, anything could fit in this pouch! It has a 3″ bottom gusset, so no weird bulking happening here! MyTat is all about spreading meaningful messages in support of not-for-profit fundraising and brand awareness.

Here’s a bird for scale. (Bird not included with the bag.) She’s a warrior, but not peaceful.

Headbands for Hope ($18). For every tube turban sold, Headbands for Hope donates one to a child with cancer.

Such a fun pattern, easy to wear anytime in the summer. The fabric is soft, 100% polyester. You can wear it as a headband, or over the ears in winter to keep warm!

A Path of Light Hand Lotion ($8.95) by Andalou Natural. 100% of net profits from A Path of Light purchase support women and girls equality and empowerment through the SHE-CAN and Vital Voices Global Partnership. Made with organic sea buckthorn oil and fair trade shea and cocoa butter, this hand cream smells amazing! It absorbs quickly, leaving a nice freshly squeezed clementine scent behind (and soft hands.)

WooBamboo Toothbrush ($7.90). This toothbrush is made with naturally biodegradable bamboo fibers and high-quality dental grade bristles. In partnership with Operation Brush, brushes are donated to impoverished children around the globe who don’t have access to basic oral hygiene supplies.

This Bar Saves Lives ($3). For every bar sold, a non-profit partner makes a life-saving packet of food that will be send where it’s needed the most. This will save a child from malnutrition. And it’s a tasty bar!

JusTea – Purple Mint. A mix of mint leaves, delicate rose petals and smooth purple tea. Purple tea is organically grown in Kenya and JusTea partner directly with Kenya Tea Farmers to provide ethical, fair-trade and sustainable tea.

It smells divine! I love mint tea and I’m so looking forward to make mint iced tea or just sipping a warm cup at night!

Included in the box, a spoiler for September’s Yogi Surprise Box: Yoga to the Rescue Book and Auromere Incense Sampler.

Every month, I enjoy Yogi Surprise box, and I always think they can’t get any better than that, and I’m always wrong! This month’s offering was not only good for you, but helps other people around the world! I really enjoyed discovering new organism that directly helps people. Such an amazing box!
