Marvel Collector Corps is a bi-monthly subscription from Marvel Comics and Funko. The box promises $50 in value every box, plus every single item is a 100% exclusive item. Past items have included vinyl collectibles, home items, accessories, and apparel.  This month, the box is all about First Appearance Avengers. Funko also produces  DC Legion of CollectorsSmuggler’s Bounty (only official Star Wars box in the Galaxy), plus the Happiest Subscription Box on Earth, Disney Treasures!

The art on the inside of the box is amazing!

The patch and the pin are the first things you see when you open the box.

Captain America Patch – Captain America wasn’t in the first issue of the Avengers but he is certainly the face of the team.

Nick Fury Pin – For those who only know the movies, you may not recognize this version of Nick Fury. I really like the pins every other month for this box.

The “boxing” cards are awesome – they provide background details on the items including the Funko creation process as well as why some of the characters were selected.

Everything in my August box!

The Incredible Hulk T-Shirt

The Incredible Hulk made his debut in his very own comic book. I’m a huge fan of Hulk and this is a great looking recreation of the first comic book.

Marvel Iron Man: Tales of Suspense #39 Vinyl Figure – Iron Man first appeared in Tales of Suspense #39 and he has become one of the most popular characters in all of comic books. This is a look at the original costume.

You can see the original comic book cover on the back of the box.

The pose is also reminiscent of the cover.

There is some amazing detail given to these figures.

Marvel Vision: Avengers #57 Vinyl Figure – Vision actually made his first appearance in an Avengers comic book. I really like what was done with his character in the movies.

He also made the cover of the comic!

I really like the detail around his eyes.

The flowing cape was a nice touch as well.

Next box features Thor Ragnarok!

I’m a huge fan of the Marvel Collector Corps subscription box. It’s a low price and it comes with exclusive items not found anywhere else. This box was totally great – 2 vinyl figures and an awesome t-shirt.
