lookfantastic Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription from the UK. This box is currently $22 per month, but goes down to $16.50 per month on an annual plan and ships free to the US and Canada! In every box, you’ll get a hand-picked selection of must-have beauty fixes, which are wrapped in a beautifully presented box and delivered straight to your door. It will always include a minimum of six products and the latest issue of Elle UK!

There is a magazine by Look Fantastic in each box as well – this includes the product information, makeup tutorials, style highlights, and other features.

The latest issue of ELLE UK is always included.

Gatineau Gentle Silk Toner ($5.60) — From Paris comes a Gatineau toner that is alcohol-free. It’s a clarifying toner, which I don’t need (hello, Korean skincare routine) so this is going to my younger sister whose skin is more sensitive.

Korres Santorini Vine Body Milk ($4.00) — From Greece was have an item from Korres! It’s a lightweight body milk scented with Greek vineyards… it smells really good and perfect for summer. I like the lightweight texture — nothing too heavy for a sweaty summer.

Mane & Tail Shampoo and Conditioner ($0.85 each) — From the US is the popular haircare that was originally designed for horses! My friend has horses and I know firsthand how rough and knotted their hair can get. Then the equestrians started trying it on their own hair and had great results… and now Mane and Tail happily serves humans, horses, and even dogs and cats. The shampoo does have SLS which is not surprising since the brand advertises its high lather. I have coloured hair so I avoid SLS but I will try this as I’m curious. The conditioner has parabens — these do not concern me but if you are overly cautious be warned.

Lottie Lip Balm ($6.40) — Representing the UK is Lottie. I thought this was a small beauty blender at first due to the egg shape, but it’s an EOS like balm. The scent is Caramel Apple!

Skin79 Super+ BB Cream ($10?)– About 9 years ago I started trying out Korean skincare. The first item I ever bought was a BB cream. Back then you couldn’t just walk into Sephora, you had to blindly pray the shade was right for your skin and rely on other people’s swatches. This was the only BB at the time pale enough for my (then) NW10 skintone. So this is just a blast of nostalgia for me. It’s actually a bit TOO light for me now, especially since I got some colour on vacation. I couldn’t find exact pricing on the sample as no size is given. That said, a little goes a long way with this formula and it should last me a while.

Lord & Berry Brunette Brow Pencil ($10) — The sample doesn’t have a size on it but it looks to be about half the length. This is possibly a bit too dark for me but I’ll give it a try.

Swatches! BB cream and brow pencil.

This was a very cool theme for Look Fantastic and it made me smile seeing my old BB cream reborn and revamped. I think all the products are solid choices and definitely new to try!
