Beauty Choice Awards 2017 Limited Edition Box Review

A few weeks ago New Beauty released the 2017 Beauty Choice Awards Limited Edition Box! It was priced at $59.95 with free shipping.

The box comes with 5 full-size products with a $230+ value plus 11 samples with a $170 value, plus 3 coupons/offers.

The information card comes with a list of all the items in the box, plus a brief description.

La Roche-Posay Micellar Water Cleansing Solution ($5) It’s a gentle formula that cleanses and tones the skin. Also has a nice mild scent and most of all, it is a no-rinse solution. Can be used as a make-up remover too — just perfect for lazy girls or busy women. Ingredients include poloxamer, antioxidant thermal spring water, glycerin, and dirt-encapsulating micelles.

Eminence Organic Skin Care Strawberry Rhubarb Dermafoliant ($11.43) A mild exfoliator which gets activated when combined with water. It is packed with antioxidants from strawberries and rhubarb that helps tighten pores. It smells great and leaves the skin looking fresh and soft. Doesn’t dry out the skin at all!

Moroccanoil Dry Texture Spray ($4.81) Ideal whether for straight, wavy, or curly hair. It is especially formulated for creating tousled texture or an effortlessly undone look. Perfect for prepping braids and updos too! It is infused with argan oil and has a long-lasting hold, texture, and volume.

CHI Argan plus Moringa Oil ($23) Of course, it’s important to keep our locks healthy too. This formula is rich with antioxidants and vitamin E that makes the hair shiny and soft. Tames frizzy hair pretty good too. Ideal for dry and damaged hair, and even for color-treated hair. Another thing to love is its scent which is a combination of apple, sea spray, and orange.

Living Proof Full Dry Volume Blast ($15) A volumizing spray for straight and wavy hair, also doubles as a dry shampoo. It’s surprisingly lightweight and it doesn’t feel sticky at all.

Obagi Sun Shield Matte Broad Spectrum SPF 50 ($17.17) This is a summer must-have — SPF 50 and has UVA & UVB protection. And it’s just perfect because it’s matte and doesn’t cause oiliness. Goodbye to shiny nose, forehead, and cheeks!

Guinot Hydra Tendre ($4) So creamy! This cleanser is packed with active fruit extracts that cleanses the skin without stripping moisture. Ideal for all skin types and can be used for morning & night.

It’s A 10 Potion 10 Miracle Styling Potion ($18.29) This box is filled with awesome products for the hair! This “styling potion” is a lightweight formula that provides shine, detangles hair, and reduces frizz. It is humidity resistant and ultra hydrating too. You only need a small amount to make the hair look silky!

Pinrose Parfum Petal Packs ($1.20) These are eau de parfum wipes that can keep you fresh on the go.

We received “Campfire Rebel,” a combination of burning oud wood and vanilla bourbon.

The wipes also came with a description card.

NeoCell Ceramides Skin Hydrator ($17.25) Nutricosmetic solution in capsule form that promotes healthy skin hydration.

The main ingredient of this formula is ceramides, which are plant-based lipids clinically proven to increase moisture and elasticity of skin. Other ingredients include hyaluronic acid, pine bark, astaxanthin, lutein and coconut water.

Doesn’t taste or smell weird, but you might have to wait for a while to see results. Also, this product is non-GMO and gluten-free.

TanTowel Self-Tan Anti-Aging Towelettes ($30) This patented self-tanning towelette is amazing. It’s super easy to use, plus it also exfoliates and moisturizes the skin while leaving a sun-kissed glow.

Dries pretty quickly and non-greasy too. Its natural tan color might not be suitable for every skin tone, though.

RevitaBrow Advanced Eyebrow Conditioner ($58) For bolder and more defined brows!

Perfect for those who have sparse or damaged brows. You only need to apply it once a day using the provided doe-foot applicator and all it takes are a few short strokes on each brow.

It’s a highly concentrated formula, so you will only need a small amount.

Grande Cosmetics Grande Eye Opener Duo ($134.95) This is the highest valued item in this month’s box — an eyelash enhancing conditioner and an eyebrow restorative treatment in one container.

We have yet to see results from this duo, but it’s convenient and uncomplicated to use. Both formulas for the brows and lashes contain radish root ferment filtrate, panax ginseng root extract, hydrolyzed yeast extract, and chamomilla recutita flower extract.

According to their website, these are ideally applied at night before bedtime. Both ends of the container have brush applicators.

Epionce Lytic Gel Cleanser ($4.55) A travel-sized cleanser. Removes dead skin cells and excess oils, as well as harmful microbes from the skin.

It could tingle for a bit depending on your skin type, but overall it is a good product that leaves the skin clean and fresh.

Colorescience Sunforgettable Loose Mineral Sunscreen Brush SPF 50 ($21.33) Yay for a portable sunscreen brush!

This tube of water-resistant powdered sunscreen provides SPF 50 protection from harmful UVA/UVB rays.

It adds a natural tint of color on the skin. Another thing to love about this item is the non-messy application, perfect for busy women who need shine-free touch-ups on-the-go.

Lumene Valo Glow Boost Essence ($24.99) An anti-aging formula that includes Arctic Cloudberry Extract, Vitamin C, Pure Arctic Spring Water, and Hyaluronic Acid.

It leaves the skin plumper, smoother and more radiant without clogging the pores.

Even the packaging is great too!
