eSalon Custom Hair Color is an at home custom color subscription. When you first log in and sign up you fill out a survey and answer questions about what you are looking for in a color and what color you currently are etc. eSalon then has a chart showing where you are and what would work for you. From this, they will send a custom blended color right to your door. They have recently changed up their two different subscriptions into one so we got a large box this month with out color and the extras.
First look in the box and you will see your customized information and instruction card on top of your coloring supplies.

I woke up before my family today and decided it was the day to color my hair. Here is a quick before picture that show my hair as it is in the morning.
It’s been awhile since I colored my hair and I feel like it has been growing like crazy this summer. You can really see it in my roots. While I don’t do a color too different from my normal color so my roots aren’t horrible but I can still tell that they are there.
I have a bowl and brush that I got as an extra from eSalon. To start, I mix the developer and the color.
When all mixed together I’m ready to go.
I didn’t take this picture to share but I was chatting with my friends this morning and took this one to send. As I was going through my pictures I kind of loved it. I put the color in and then I sit in my bathroom for 30 minutes before I jump in the shower to wash it out. This is so great and I can go through my messages and chat away while I wait. I’ve also read a book or just chilled which is so much better for me then sitting and making small talk in a salon. I love the flexibility of where I want to do my own color.

Some more of the color from the side. I don’t normally dry my hair the whole way with the blow dryer so this is my mostly dry look. My hair is very thick and very straight but I have plenty of color in my box for all of it.

All done and ready to go. I love how easy it is for me to refresh and color my hair as needed. eSalon always leaves me with great color that lasts until I do it again. I have mine set up for every 8 weeks but you can modify that in your account if you want it sooner. The color is shiny and bright and makes my hair feel great after I’ve colored it. eSalon makes it so easy that I always wonder why I didn’t color my own hair before.
