Here are all the items in the Walmart Beauty Box this summer. Do note that this box ships out over months and months, and items may vary. I get my box at the beginning of the shipping wave.
Pond’s MoistureClean Original Fresh Towelettes (76¢) These cleansing cloths are textured and stay wet, and even a little sudsy, for the entire cleansing process. This is more for heavy duty cleaning than cleaning and refreshing in my opinion – great for travel, but if you were to use these as home, I think you might as well use a regular makeup remover and cleanser.
Burt’s Bees Night Cream With Royal Jelly ($0.57) I was happy to get a night cream sample in the box because I really needed one to apply right away, and I ripped this one open. I felt like it left a bit of residue on my skin, but it was soothing and moisturizing.
Banana Boat Dry Balance Sunscreen Lotion With SPF30 ($1.83) This sunblock dries with a soft matte finish to help avoid the sticky feeling you get with some sunblocks and to encourage sunscreen application. It’s water resistant and has a beachy sort of spa scent and definitely has more of a matte finish than other formulations. This product does contain parabens.
Dove Refresh + Care Volume & Fullness Dry Shampoo ($0.90) I can always use dry shampoo and I was happy to receive one that was designed for my hair type! I don’t love the scent but it works and it’s cheap. It’s a good daily basic.

I always like getting a matching set! I know a lot of people hate Pantene but I love having a throwback day or two with that familiar Pantene smell, and I always use my Pantene samples!
RoC Multi Correxion 5-in-1 Chest, Neck & Face Cream Sunscreen With SPF 30 ($1.87) This is a nice little sunscreen with a non-noxious scent (although it is scented) that settles on pretty clear and matte. It’s a great choice for an under-makeup sunscreen.
The value of this box was about $7 – barely above the price of the box. I had been happier with the past couple of quarters, but it looks like Walmart Beauty Box is back to being something that I can’t say is worth the money if you have a limited budget for your beauty box allocations. Why not let your money go way farther on another box that will give you multiples value-wise of what you put into it?! There is also a lot of duplication from the Trendsetter box last quarter, and all the Target Beauty Boxes over the last 3-4 months.
FYI – in place of the Burt’s Bees sample, some subscribers received coconut oil, others received deodorant.
