Paper Pumpkin is a craft box from Stampin’ Up that sends a creative box each month with all the supplies to make a quick craft whether it be cards, boxes, bags, home decor or anything else in the paper crafting world. This is the new Logo for Paper Pumpkin and it really jumps off the box.

Upon peeling back the tissue, first you will see the stamp set for the month and the ink spot. I love these ink spots and keep them in an old stamp case. They are great to take when I go to a friends house or a crop and I get all the different colors without having to take all of the big ink pads. I also keep the stamp sets in a case and pull them out frequently. They are always so timely and with such a variation I can grab my Paper Pumpkin stamp stash and have an assortment to go with. This month’s box was called “One in a Melon.” Isn’t that such a summer title?

Underneath the stamps and ink spot is the packet of paper products and other supplies for the project. They are all sealed up in plastic with a piece of cardboard and the information booklet.

All of the supplies that were in the sealed package. This month we are making cards and gift bags all with a melon theme!

Each month, the Paper Pumpkin comes with an information brochure that folds out and lets you know how to make the projects for that month.

Look how cute and summery the cards are this month!!! I love the banner look and the whole fruit theme on the background. I did not stamp them all since I’m not sure who I’m going to give them to yet but they are all ready to go and I can just stamp on the banner and send on their way.

They even sent cute stamps for the envelopes. I love the added touch when sending a card I’ve created to stamp on the envelope. It’s the little things that really stand out.

The second project was to make some melon themed gift bags. I knew right when I saw these that I was going to put our end-of-year teacher gifts in them. With that in mind, I did not use any of the stamped saying from this month but grabbed out the stamp set from the May Paper Pumpkin and used “Thankful for You.” It was the perfect saying for the teachers we have had this year. While I love the bags, what I think I love the most is the tissue paper they sent with it. Just look at all those seeds on the watermelon paper. So stinkin’ cute!

Another fantastic month for Paper Pumpkin. I love all the colors in here and the whole idea of the fruits. They are so cute and so vibrant they really pop out. I was very excited that they sent us a stamp for the melon instead of stickers since now I will be able to add it to my stamp collection and can use any color ink to make melons and fruits of any kind. That is just one of the things I love about my boxes each month. Getting a set of fun an funky stamps that I can use over and over again.

What did you think of this month’s Paper Pumpkin kit? Do you enjoy sending and receiving hand made gifts?
