MilSO Box is a monthly subscription that sends care packages to those women who hold down the home-front while their loved one is serving in the military. MilSO stands for Military Significant Other, which in this case would be a wife or mother. It is $39.95 a month and there are 1, 3, 6, or 12 month options and all renew once their term is over. According to their FAQS “you can expect a mix of bath & beauty products, home decor, accessories, helpful gadgets, inspirational items, unique gifts, and of course, anything with PATRIOTIC pizzazz!!!”
Upon signup, it asks for the branch of service and t-shirt size so I am going to assume that they may send a special extra for subscribers. The package was wrapped with purple tissue paper and had shredded tissue paper strips for cushioning.
Everything in the box! My husband is in the Air Force Reserves (we both served on active duty in the past) so all of my items will feature the youngest branch of the military.
There was a product information card that had a thank you note on one side and a description of the products and where to acquire them on the other side.
MilSO Box sends items that are made in America or are from companies that are ran by MilSOs or veterans. The owner of MilSO Box is a veteran of the US Air Force. My card says it is “The Essentials” box but doesn’t say “July” so I think this is different from the usual monthly box.
This is a MilSO Box exclusive aluminum Motivational Water Bottle with a caribiner clip and the MilSO emblem on the bottle along with a motivational saying. They can put your logo on a ton of different items!
Air Force Love AF Wings Decal is made by East & West Creations and they feature lots of military decals and items on their website. The sticker is 4″ x 4″ and I love the light blue color. It has the Air Force wing symbol in the “O” position of the word love. Perfect for a car bumper or laptop or anywhere else you want to show some branch love.
Wow, these blousers take me WAY back! The green stretchy part of this bracelet is a uniform accessory that I would use to “blouse” my BDU pants just above my combat boots. I love that they have been used in this way, what a cute idea! The Boot Band Bracelet was handmade by a MilSO spouse and although I couldn’t find this bracelet listed she does have an Etsy shop called Sunshine Shop Designs with other cute items.
The metal says “an airman has my ♥” and if the wording is hard to see then you can just go over it with a black Sharpie marker to fill it in again.
What a cute little Air Force Key Fob from Gabby’s Quilts! The owner of this shop has a son in the military and you can find lots of cute items on her site, such as a camo pacifier holder!
This key chain is very sturdy and can be made to order for each branch.
I couldn’t find much info on An Anchor of Love since this Etsy site is taking a little maternity break. This MilSO owned shop made this bow to match the Air Force uniform material. I’m not a bow person so I will either pass to one of my daughters or clip it on a tote bag.
What a cute MilSO Box! I liked all of the items and that they are practical and branch specific, plus they even manage to feel feminine. I think it’s great that MilSO Box sends products from companies started by people who have served or who have a family member who is serving in the military. I love the idea of this box and the curation and can’t wait to see what they offer in future boxes!
