Loot Crate‘s theme for June is ANIMATION.  Loot Crate is the original nerd subscription box for geeks & gamers. Every month you’ll get awesome, mostly exclusive geeky pop culture items curated around a theme for only $20 per month, shipped.

DEAL: Save 15% on any subscription when you use this link and coupon code HELLOSUBSCRIPTION15.

Every Loot Crate box comes with the mini mag!

A note – the mini mag is no more starting with next month. The full guide/magazine will be here.

The magazine has fun features.

It also lists all the items in the box.

There’s also an order of the keys bonus loot challenge.

You can earn special loot if you complete everything correctly in time for next month’s box.

Before we get any further, let me just show you how the box transforms this month! It’s a Bob’s Burger menu for the Burger of the Day!

Everything in our July 2017 box!

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Turtle Van T-Shirt

This totally tubular shirt has the Turtles in their van near the hem, and the entire front is printed with a rad turtle shell design.

Rick and Morty Rick “Peace Among Worlds” Figure

Adults were given plenty of warnings that this item wasn’t intended for children and it’s a good time to remind you that if you purchase a box intended for adults for your kids, you may want to peek through to make sure everything is on the up & up.

This is the first figure made by Loot Crate for the core crate – they didn’t partner with another company.

It’s Rick flipping a bird. Peace among worlds!

There are some dings on the back of the white coat, but for a figure in a $20 box I’m not too upset (especially since I don’t personally care about this franchise – I might feel differently if I wanted this on my shelf!).

Futurama Slurm Koozies Pack

These are both funny and functional – and I love that two came in the box!

I could be mysterious about my drink, but it’s a sweet sweet Pepsi Max (which I guess they call something else now but I don’t know what it is). It’s all Slurm to me!

The Bob’s Burgers Burger Book Loot Crate Edition (Recipe Cards in a Box)

Real Recipes for Joke Burgers

They are real recipes!

And the back side had fun art prints. As far as I know if you are a mega fan for Bob’s and you already have the box, this is basically a duplicate item.

I thought all the items were nice and well produced but for me this box was a near flop – the only item I personally cared for was the TMNT shirt – everything else I could do without because I’m not into these particular franchises. If I were a regular subscriber I would have just skipped the box once spoilers were released (which you can do, even on a longer term subscription). As a mom of small kids – no way is that figure going up in my house, but I thought the warnings were more than adequate. All this being said – the Kingdom spoilers for next month? That’s just up my classic geek alley!
