lookfantastic Beauty Box is a monthly beauty subscription from the UK. This box is currently $22 per month, but goes down to $16.50 per month on an annual plan and ships free to the US and Canada! In every box, you’ll get a hand-picked selection of must-have beauty fixes, which are wrapped in a beautifully presented box and delivered straight to your door. It will always include a minimum of six products and the latest issue of Elle UK!

Last month’s box was a bust — I was only sent 4 of the 7 products and customer service did not assist.

There is a magazine by Look Fantastic in each box as well – this includes the product information, makeup tutorials, style highlights, and other features. You also get the latest issue of ELLE UK.

Here’s what is in the June box!

BalanceMe Balancing Face Moisturizer 20 mL ($12.40) BalanceMe is 99% natural and includes lots of good ingredients in their products. The Balancing moisturizer is geared towards oily and acne prone skin to help balance oil.

Monu Rosweood Reviving Mist ($11.45) Another UK brand, Monu’s mist has essential oils of lemon, rosewood, and sandalwood. It smells amazing and feels light on the skin.

Kérastase Resistance Bain Force Architecte Strengthening Shampoo 80 mL ($20.50) The Architechte line is meant for overprocessed and damaged hair. Kerastase hair care is generally great and I’ve liked the lines I’ve tried. This is a very generous travel size version sold on their website.

First Aid Beauty Facial Radiance Pads – 28 Pads ($15.00) Exfoliating pads that use gentle acids like lactic and glycolic. I have a similar product I use so I gave these to my mom — she’s getting into the Korean beauty skincare routine and these are a nice gentle exfoliation step to add.

Bellapierre Shimmer Powder ($15) A white shimmer powder with purple shift. I am not a fan of powders in general so this is going to my sister. Bellapierre products are frequent in US boxes so this was rather underwhelming to see in Look Fantastic.

Hailey Baldwin for ModelCo Lip Gloss ($8) Biz is a sheer nude pink. This is advertised as a long lasting lip lacquer but aside from being sticky, I didn’t think it wore particularly well.

After the disaster that was my May box, it was nice to have a full box of products to try. While nothing really WOWed me, I still think it was a nice selection. I like when there are some European lines featured as we don’t get those as easily here in North America.

I got a different shade of lip gloss. It was called Beige. It was beige. I’m okay with that – nothing wrong with glossy beige.

This is exactly why I hesitated to subscribe. July looked blah.

I think every single box I’ve reviewed is hit or miss. There’s really a 50/50 chance that the box will be awesome or a fail. I’ve yet to find a box that is consistently amazing every single month.
