These new cushion complexion pens are featured in next month’s box.  I actually tried one out already, and I think it’s a fabulous product, but I needed a new shade – they are switching it out for me!

Everything in my box! Julep’s Beauty Box subscription is customizable – you can swap out products to get exactly what you want from the available selections.

So Plush Werk Ultra-Hydrating Lip Gloss ($19) This brand new shade is “Heathered Rose Crème” and it’s super pretty – a pinky soft rose.

Julep’s lip gloss is miles better than it used to be.  It’s not sticky and gives you the nicest bit of color! I have this one in my purse and I’m reaching for it all the time – I love the light slightly opaque pink and it’s so pretty!

Karina Bombshell Nail Polish ($14)

Inky Purple Creme – this dark purple is nearly blue when it’s on your nail.

Courtney Wonder Maven Nail Polish ($14)

Capri Blue Creme – What a pretty shade of summer blue!

I tried out a sponge ombre with these two colors – I was inspired by the warm orange and yellow ombre they did for the spoilers! I prepped my nails by painting liquid latex around the nails, but to be honest, taking a shower afterwards usually works just as well. I painted a blue base coat on, and two stripes of polish on a makeup sponge and patted it on, then covered with a top coat.

Metal Marks Temporary Tattoo – I also got these free tattoos with my box.

This was a fun box for me this month and I’m happy that I tried out a new technique with my nails, too. My fancy nail art lasted a long time and Julep is great to experiment with!

What did you pick in your Julep Beauty Box this month?
