The FCS of the Month Club features full sized products including past scents making a revival, current releases, and at least one brand new product for us to be guinea pigs with! I love FCS’s products and I am so excited to see what they have chosen! The box is $28 a month and shipping is calculated at check out based on your location.

Each month the FCS theme is revealed for next month, and you have the option to skip it if the theme isn’t your cup of tea. This month’s theme is HAIR! A few months ago we had the Shower collection and I was sad there wasn’t any haircare products in it. And ta-da, a few months later we have an entire hair-themed box!

The info booklet includes details on all the products as well as scent descriptions.

Seven full-sized products to tame your mane!

To start, we have a trio of shampoos! (Well, a duo and a half…)

Buttercup Liquid Shampoo ($11.99) — Candied rum wrapped with ripe fig, bergamot, vetiver, warm sandalwood and sweet vanilla musk. This is from the Princess Bride collection I sampled with the quarterly box last year. This smells great. The formula is SLS-free and includes coconut oil, argan oil, and apple extract.

Deep Magic Co-Wash ($9.49) — This co-wash will restore your hair to life with a revitalizing blend of rosemary, fresh garden herbs and revitalizing mint. Co-washing is when you use conditioner to wash your hair instead of with stripping shampoos. I have thin, fine hair and it does get oily, so I wash my hair every other day. I think I’ll try this and see how I fare.

Oh Hair Dry Shampoo ($9.99) — Fresh peach nectar and shaved grapefruit, garnished with a sprig of thyme… I use dry shampoo between washes. It’s not my favourite thing to use but it helps cut down on the oil.

Off With Their Heads Leave-In Conditioner ($9.99) — Groves of Meyer lemons and succulent oranges mingle with a perfectly manicured garden of wild roses, violets, and star jasmine perfumed with romantic tones of bergamot and Egyptian musk. I’ve never quite figured out the difference between leave-in spray conditioner and detangler. For me they do pretty much the same thing!

Whale Talk Deep Conditioner ($12.99) — Feelin’ ridiculous yet? Not to worry, simply place this tropical mash-up of strawberries, black currant, jasmine, grapefruit and fresh avocado under your nose and take a whiff. Hair masks weigh down my hair too much so this is going to my friend Sam — she loved the FCS deep conditioner I gave to her for Christmas from a previous box so I know she’ll love this one too.

Body Shot Detangler ($10.99) — This summery raspberry lemonade scent was just too good not to use. This is hands down my fave scent in the box.

Parlay Shimmer Hair and Body Mist ($9.99) — Invoke the right of parlay laid down by the pirates Morgan and Bartholomew who clearly favor lime and coconut flavors and negotiate a treaty with your hair and skin, upholding your own ambitions unhindered by the harsh sea. I don’t like doing shimmer, so I hope this isn’t too sparkly. This is from the recent Pirates of the Caribbean collection which I reviewed in the Spring. I like it a lot.

This month’s box had a value of around $75. I’m so happy with this box, especially after last month’s rather boring theme. My shower is well-stocked with delicious smelling hair products!

Thanks Chanell! It’s a great box and definitely one I don’t feel guilty about indulging in because it’s so practical.
