Everything in my box!

June’s theme was Hello Sunshine and is here to provide us with beauty products to get us off to a sunny start to summer.

The product information card listed the products included in the box and a little info about each item. It also included a coupon for $3 off a beauty purchase of $15 or more and expires on July 2nd. Good to know: the coupon can be used in stores or online!

Masque Bar Soothing Sheet Mask ($3.49) is from Korea and features glycerin, aloe, tea extract, and witch hazel to hydrate and sooth skin. Give yourself 20-30 minutes for the mask to impart it’s properties – maybe watch your favorite sitcom with your feet kicked up.

Schick Hydro Silk Razor for Women ($6.54) Wow, this product alone was just about worth the price of the box! With 3 females in my house we go through a ton of razors, especially in the summer. This one features 5 blades and a moisture strip that is supposed to keep legs soft for up to two hours after shaving.

Sinful Colors Nail Polish in Island Coral ($1.99) is 3-free and is a lovely tropical peachy coral shade. This is going on my toes ASAP and will look lovely when/if I get to put my feet in some sand this summer. Some boxes will have the shade Clad in Plaid, which is a bright red.

Hawaiian Tropic Island Sport Ultra Light SPF 30 ($2) I love sunscreen and can’t seem to get enough! This one absorbs quickly and has a tropical scent to help you feel like you’re at the beach, even if your just at the local pool.

Aussie 3 Minute Miracle Moist Deep Conditioner (63¢) I first used this on my hair way back in the 80’s and this has been around for so long because it works extremely well. My daughter used to be on a swim team so she would wash with a clarifying shampoo and then follow with this to really soften her hair. I suggest using it once a week or after a dip in the pool.

John Frieda Beach Blonde Sea Salt Spray ($2.99) I pretty much blow dry my short hair every day but this is good for those times when I plan on staying home and don’t need to style my hair. You just spray it in and tousle your hair and go. If you have long hair you can twist it into ropes and then run your fingers through your hair when it dries. It also has a beachy scent that isn’t overwhelming.

NYX Gotcha Covered Concealer in Medium ($5.99) I have been waiting for a concealer in a box and now I have one, and what a nice one it is, too! I was worried that the shade would be too dark for me but maybe I’m not as pale as I thought. I dabbed it under my eyes, on skin imperfections, and over the red spots on my face, which is most of my face (gee, thanks rosacea!). I was pleasantly surprised at how well it covered, as well as the longevity. It’s pretty tacky but I swear it took 5 years off of my age.

Here it is swatched on my arm. I just placed a blob on and didn’t really rub it in. It was great at covering up my stop light complexion.

Summer is already here in my part of the country and now I have some ammunition against the heat and humidity thanks to Target! I thought the assortment of products was perfect for this time of year. I haven’t purchased a Target Beauty Box in a while but this one was right up my alley, product-wise. I was very happy with my nail color shade and the NYX concealer and can always use a razor and sunscreen! This box had a value of $23.63, which is 3 times the price paid for the box!
