POPSUGAR Must Have Box is a monthly women’s subscription box. You’ll receive items from a mix of categories like beauty, home, accessories, jewelry, etc. It’s one of the most popular subscription boxes around!

My monthly POPSUGAR box is always something to really anticipate! At $39.95 per month, there’s always at least $100 value of interesting new items to enjoy.

This box is still available!

DEAL: Save $20 on your first box with this link and coupon code MSA20

The Popsugar Must Have Editors come up with inspirations every month which guide the box curation. The June box is inspired by “Beach Read, Swim, Waves, Breeze, Mermaids, Palm Trees!”

The card also gives brief summaries of each item and why they were selected!

Everything in the June box! Looks like Summer from here!

NCLA So Rich – Mermaid Tears ($18) These are the best smelling cuticle oil drops you’ll ever come across!

The scent blend is honeysuckle and sea breeze, all mixed in a sunflower oil and vitamin E base. You just drop it right on your nails and cuticles for instant hydration.

BILLABONG Aloha Forever Trucker Hat ($17.95) When we opened this box, we were like oh, I guess trucker hats are back in style already?! And it’s true – it’s been about 15 years since the original trend swept through! Time for a redux with this clean crisp blue & white version!

I guess Billabong knows what’s in for summer!

It has a nice mesh back and it’s really cute – I am for sure using it on my beach vacation! I think it’s a great alternative to the floppy beach hat for more active activities!

Captain Blankenship Mermaid Sea Salt Hair Spray ($24)

This gives great texture and waves without being crunchy. It’s made with natural and organic ingredients and has a beachy rose scent.

I tested it out, and honestly it didn’t do much for my hair. I think it would be a good base spray for more adventurous hairstyles (i.e., it will make your hair a little more sticky so it can hold a style).

I was a little bummed to not get any waves, but my hair is basically adverse to all styling attempts.

Belgian Boys Mini Cookie Stash ($0.99) NOM NOM NOM.

These little cookies are #1 shaped like moustaches and #2 speculoos flavored, which makes them amazing. The flavoring is less intense than the Trader Joe’s version IMO but still great.

These were so fun and probably my favorite Popsugar snack of all time. Unfortunately there wasn’t a coupon to buy more. I was ready to sign up for a subscription to these!

Meri Meri Blue and White Party Straws ($5.95) These cute party accessories will add some fun to a summer table! Time to break out the mason jars! Or you can pop one into the drink that came in the box.

Aloha Collection Mid-Size Ocean Coco Palms Pouch ($36) This pouch is so pretty – and really big! If you remember the second photo above it covered the entire top of the box.

This wetbag is 100% coated tyvek and is splashproof. You can keep dry things dry and wet things away from your dry things. It’s not waterproof but it will keep your gear safer.

There was a coupon code included too.

I have a black pouch from the same company, but I have to say I much prefer this white pouch. It has a more fun, summery look to it, and it’s a lot easier to see inside!

The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo By Taylor Jenkins Reid ($17.10 – retail $26)

Amazon summary:

In this entrancing novel “that speaks to the Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor in us all” (Kirkus Reviews), a legendary film actress reflects on her relentless rise to the top and the risks she took, the loves she lost, and the long-held secrets the public could never imagine.

Aging and reclusive Hollywood movie icon Evelyn Hugo is finally ready to tell the truth about her glamorous and scandalous life. But when she chooses unknown magazine reporter Monique Grant for the job, no one is more astounded than Monique herself. Why her? Why now?

I actually prefer the (quite rare) Amazon review for giving a good sense of what this book is about:

Imagine if Mariyln Monroe lived to be 79 years old, decided to write a tell-all book, and plucked you (assuming you’re an unknown journalist) out of obscurity to write it. Such is the premise of The Seven Husbands of Eveyln Hugo, and it’s fascinating. In this page-turner a star is born, but her path to success is laden with grit, grief and deceit. Alternating between Eveyln’s first-hand account of her journey to stardom and the observations of Monique, the woman mysteriously selected to pen Eveyln’s biography, the novel questions whether fame is worth the price. The stories of Eveyln, her seven husbands and their friends, lovers and confidants intertwine to spin up a glamour tornado powered by sex, love, money and Hollywood gossip. This book is captivating, sexy, and at times, heart wrenching. Readers will delight in the glitz and intrigue, and be pleasantly surprised by the complex, thought-provoking twist. In summary, put it in your beach bag. You will thank me later.

It’s basically a quintessential summer beach read and was just released yesterday!

I’m not personally crazy about books in POPSUGAR (my personal tastes lean toward Neal Stephenson’s new book, also released yesterday) but I know people that are wild about every book that’s ever been inside the box.

Sponsored: Starbucks Frappuccino Coffee Drink ($2.19) Subscribers receive one of a variety of flavors.  I dislike coffee, so I popped this in the fridge for my husband. (I realize I am basically the only person in the world who doesn’t like this item.)

A coupon was included in the box too!

This was a fun, themed box great for the start of summer. I’m going to rate it pretty good – and great if you were aching for a new beach read. I’m particularly in love with the pouch, cuticle oil, hat, and of course those tasty cookies!
