Petit Vour is a monthly vegan beauty subscription box sending the “crème de la cruelty-free.” For only $15 per month, you receive four cruelty-free and non-toxic beauty products, mostly deluxe sample sized but with the occasional full-sized item. Subscriptions are available in 1, 3, 6, or 12-month terms and all items are sans the “Dirty Thirty” and of course free of all animal derived products.

The information card gave details of each item. You can purchase the full sizes in the Petit Vour Store and you also earn points for rating your items which can then be used in the store (you also earn points on shop purchases and for referring a friend!). Have you ever wanted to build your own sample box? Petit Vour sells samples so you can basically build your own box!

Everything in my box! With the exception of the scent it looks like products may vary, such as the shade of lip balm,  type of skin wipe, or type of blotting paper.

Mai Couture Bamboo Charcoal Blotting Paper ($10) Wow, these little pieces of paper help draw out pollutants thanks to the bamboo embedded within.

I’m not sure how much actual dirt is being drawn out of my pores but I did use it on my forehead and it sure did pick up oil! This is easy to place in a makeup bag or backpack and then just rip one out of the book and blot away without fear of disturbing your makeup.

My Daughter Fragrances in Bloom 23 ($2 for a sample size at Petit Vour)

BLOOM.THE VERY WORD IS BEAUTY REALIZED, AN ANTICIPATED MOMENT, ACHIEVED.

It’s a springtime birthday, a white linen picnic in gentle sun. It’s a day, a season, a life of potential. It’s divine femininity; as flawlessly classical as the immaculate blooms of an unfolding gardenia flower, the blossom of which makes up the fragrance’s heart.

I had a hard time removing the lid from the vial and was worried it would break in my hand. I really wish producers would realize that this type of vial is pretty useless. Even Sephora makes up their samples in-store in a spray vial.

The fragrance was a nice, white floral with gardenia and jasmine taking the lead. It is indeed sunny and happy, although I’m not sensing the vanilla or ylang ylang. The picture shows lemons and cucumbers and I really wish this fragrance had a citrusy note, especially for summer. Still, this is a good scent for spring and summer and fades very fast.

NIU Body Normal Skin Wipes ($1.20) These wipes are soaked in a very simple mixture of fractionated coconut oil,  geranium oil, and lavender essential oil. They smell so good and are very oily.

There were two pads in the package. I used one wipe and rubbed it all over my face and it left my face very oily. The instructions said to rinse face with water afterwards to remove excess oil but water and oil don’t mix and that rarely works. I frequently double cleanse – I start by using a cleansing oil followed by a foaming cleanser – so I went ahead and used my foaming cleanser afterwards and could see makeup left behind on my washcloth. I would heartily suggest these wipes as an oil-based first cleansing step since the ingredients are simple and they smell totally awesome!

Modern Minerals Lip Crème Tint in Joyful ($20) is made with coconut and avocado oils, shea butter, and essential oils, which give it its scent, which is a blend of shea butter and nectarine blossom. It comes in a spherical container and you can use your finger or a brush to apply.

This lip tint is “infused with Lotus Wei’s flower essence and gemstone energy” and is full of positive intent.

These core components work in tandem to harness camaraderie and friendliness; heighten softness and gentleness; channel happiness and joy; enhance kindness and sweetness; magnify tolerance, affection and thoughtfulness; foster playfulness and fun; and support a blissful, whimsical spirit. Indeed, there’s a lot to love!

I was worried that my lips would look like they were on fire but it is a very sheer shade that can be worn alone or layered over lip liner or a darker color. I like it!

I’m always amazed because I feel like Petit Vour sends items that are perfect for me and my needs! I like the variety of items, too, and feel like it hits several different beauty areas each month. I enjoyed all of this month’s items, but wish the perfume was in a spray vial. That lip gloss will last for a year! This month’s box had a value of around $33.20, which is double the cost of the box!
