The theme for June is Snack Happy! We are huge snackers at my house so I couldn’t wait to see what goodies we would be making this month.

Everything in our June KidStir box.

The box comes with an information card that has the note you can see in the box picture above on one side and then a shopping list on the other.

First up this month are Fish Food. These are a homemade alternative to the fish crackers we all have in bags in our house.

Each recipe has a list of ingredients and then step by step instructions. If there is any true need for an adult helper, that is called out so you can see it right off.

This recipe also had some information on different cheeses from around the world.

KidStir also includes fun options you can do with the included kid item other then the given in the recipe.  This is a great idea and something we will do at my house this summer.

Next up is Power Munchies which are a kale chip. I’m a fan of kale chips but I’m not sure I’m going to be able to get my kids to eat these. I’m wondering if they help me make them if they will eat them. That works sometimes at my house and sometimes not.

The final recipe is for Animal Crackers. The included kids’ tool are some different animal cookie cutters. These are going to be another fun recipe to make with my boys this summer. These will be great to take with us when we are out on the go all summer in the fun.

A scrumptious snackful box from KidStir for June. We love snacks and with summer feeling like it is already here I’m always looking for new and fun ideas. These are going to be so great for me and the boys as we spend our summer out at the pool, parks and museums. We have big plans so having good on the go snacks is a must.

Have you cooked with KidStir? What is your favorite snack?
