Just the Threads is a monthly subscription box that brings you all the threads you’ll need for your next stitching project. Whether you’re an embroiderer, needlepointer, cross-stitcher, crazy quilter, or just a thread lover, you’ll find something you’ll love in each Just the Threads box.

The subscription costs $22.99 per month and is part of the  of subscriptions! FYI – If you’re a cross stitcher and a Stitchy Box subscriber, they now have a Thread It Up add on subscription. It’s a little different than this one – as it’s not a standalone, it’s more themed with the regular bimonthly subscription.

Everything is packed into a pretty paper bag.

The theme this May is Sunny Yellow & Floral Violets! All the themes for 2017 are complementary colors.

You will personalize your subscription when you sign up. You can see more complete info about the quiz in my first Just The Threads review!

Week Dye Works Peoria Purple Cotton Floss ($2.40)

Caron Soie Cristale Silk Floss ($1.75) [I don’t know why this is so cheap on etsy, this is more like $2.90 retail]

First the violets! We have one that’s a purple and the other is a blue-violet. Both are gorgeous. The cotton has very pretty variegation and the silk is of course silk.

The Gentle Art Lemon Drops Cotton Floss ($2.45) Buttercup yellow!

Week Dye Works Saffron Cotton Floss ($2.45) A soft goldenrod.

Classic Colorworks Cake Belle Soie Silk Floss ($7.29) I wanted to call this a wheat color, but I love the descriptor of cake!

Haandarbejdets Fremme Danish Flower Thread (£6, about $7.65) This stranded twist embroidery thread totally reminded me of all my mom’s 70s embroidery. I am thinking I might need more of this!

Super pretty and terribly usable threads this month!

The value of this box comes in at around $24, which is about a dollar over the subscription price, which is pretty darn decent considering that LNS shipping can be quite spendy and you can reduce the price substantially by signing up for a longer term.
