Just the Threads is a monthly subscription box that brings you all the threads you’ll need for your next stitching project. Whether you’re an embroiderer, needlepointer, cross-stitcher, crazy quilter, or just a thread lover, you’ll find something you’ll love in each Just the Threads box.

The subscription costs $22.99 per month and is part of the  of subscriptions! FYI – If you’re a cross stitcher and a Stitchy Box subscriber, they now have a Thread It Up add on subscription. It’s a little different than this one – as it’s not a standalone, it’s more themed with the regular bimonthly subscription.

Everything is packed into a pretty paper bag. The themes for 2017 are complementary colors.

The theme this April is Rose Red & Olive Green! All the themes for 2017 are complementary colors.

You will personalize your subscription when you sign up. You can see more complete info about the quiz in my first Just The Threads review!

Kreinik Metallics Blending Filament #015 ($6.13) I love this blending filament, I stitch it either with 1 or 2 strands of floss, depending on what I’m working on. This bright lime green has a touch of spring, but it’s also great for a fantastic fun Christmas scene!

Dinky Dyes Pindi Silk Floss ($4.50) And some silk to match! I wouldn’t ever stitch blending filament with silk, but I like that I could use both of these on the same piece and they would work!

Needlepoint Inc. Renaissance Green #545 Silk Floss ($4.49) This stranded silk is 8 ply and 100% colorfast. I think the color is a nice mossy/foresty green.

Northern Lights Nantucket Silk Floss (£4.23, about $5.50) Also an 8 ply, with a really beautiful variegated overdye. I love this one!

Presencia Pearl #9725 Cotton Thread ($2.50) This has lots of light lights and dark darks, highlighting all the different shades of red.

Valdani Proud Turkey Embroidery Cotton ($4.89) Super similar to the Northern Lights above, but a 6 ply cotton.

Both of these are overdyed flosses – the first has a lot more variation, and the second really coordinates, but with a tonal variation.

The value of this box comes in at around $21, right under the subscription price, which is pretty darn decent considering that LNS shipping can be quite spendy and you can reduce the price substantially by signing up for a longer term.
