Five Four Club is a men’s clothing monthly subscription club – sign up, pick a style profile and your sizes, and get clothes every month. The subscription is a $60 flat monthly fee, and traditionally subscribers receive a variable number of items each month, depending on the value of the month’s selections (months with several items usually include a tee-shirt or other lower value item). This subscription ships at the end of the month.

This month’s shipment came with 3 items. FYI – my Five Four profile is “Mix”. A combination of Classic, Forward, and Casual.

DEAL: You can save 50% on your first box with code TB50OFF!

Contrast Oxford Button Down Shirt: I really like this shirt. It’s 100% cotton, has short sleeves and it’s lightweight. Making it a great warm weather shirt. I think I might of lost a few inches, because the shirt fitted me rather big. Not really a bad thing, but I ended up having to tuck it in. I did adjust my profile from a XL to a L, so we will see. Love the color!

WAYS TO WEAR – via Five Four

Look 1: The Casual Look

Easy to wear, great for brunch or casual day

  • Pair with simple, classic bottoms such as the Harbin Shorts
  • Pair with sneakers similar in style to the FF x SeaVees Huntington Shoes
  • Keep a neutral palette on the bottom to let the color stand out on top

Look 2: The Forward Look

Easy to wear for a casual day and night out

  • Pair with your Dunraven Jeans
  • Pair with sneakers similar in style to the FF x SeaVees Huntington Shoes
  • Styling it with white pants creates the perfect trendy look for the Spring season

Harbin Gray MOD: I’m not a big fan of shorts even though their essential in the summer. Call me weird, I don’t know. Usually shorts just fit me weird because I have very thick thighs. However, these fitted me rather nicely. They’re made from 98% cotton and 2% spandex. It has an adjustable buckle in the back, which to me is a bit unnecessary and annoying once it gets unloosened.

Rufford Navy Belt – My new favorite belt. I’ve been wearing it with everything. It has a stretch in it so you can pull it as tight as you need.
How I Styled It / Final Verdict: This came right in time for a wedding I went to. I wore the shirt and the belt and dressed it up. It was an outdoor wedding on one of the hottest days so far in NYC. I managed to stay cool the entire day and didn’t feel like I was going to die. The belt kept my [falling] pants up all day and wasn’t too tight around the waist. I really liked this package!
