Fitted Tot is a monthly clothes rental subscription for children wearing clothes sized from 3 months to 5t. When you sign up, you answer some very basic questions: boy/girl, size and season, and the folks behind fitted tot send out three coordinated play outfits, one premium outfit or dress and a pair of pajamas to your home. You can keep the clothes for as long as you wish. Once you’re done, mail the clothes back in the enclosed postage paid envelope, and as soon as fitted tot receives the envelope, they’ll ship you another batch of clothes. If you love any of the outfits so much you just can’t part with them, you can keep them for a 20% discount off MSRP.

The clothes arrived neatly stacked in a blue box.

An info card lists the prices you would have to pay to keep the clothes permanently.

Save this card, as the reverse has places to send comments back to your stylist! It also provides a spot to request a new size for future shipments.

Each outfit arrives pre-washed in Dreft and folded neatly.

Everything in my box! Everything was in like-new condition, but with no tags to deal with.

Jumping Beans Make Room For Awesome T-Shirt & Green Plaid Shorts ($12): My son loved the design on this shirt – it’s hard to go wrong with dinosaurs! The shorts have an anchored drawstring, but the elastic waistband does the work.

I really like the way the outfits are matched – either actual sets or just paired with matching items – so they are ready to wear.

The fit of the shirt was great, and the long shorts give a little extra shade for the legs while keeping it cool.

Carter’s Crab Shorts PJs ($7): Super cute! I thought these crabs were all very grumpy, but the pattern is arranged with all but a few crabs upside down so the wearer gets the best view. A lot of times our guy likes to snuggle up in warm blankets, no matter what the weather. Pajama short sets are great for that.

These are also really handy for lazy mornings – or playing in the water!

Jack Thomas Blue Check Short Sleeve Collared Shirt ($16.80): A nice short-sleeve button-down for dressy occasions.

Jack Thomas Red Anchor Shorts ($22.20): The dark anchors make the shorts a nice pairing for the shirt.

A little embroidered dog is on the breast pocket.

This outfit looked really cute, but it was also comfy enough to wear for playtime.

Jumping Beans Super Cool T-Shirt & Whale Shorts ($12): This set has matching colors, so it looks great together. I like that they match but don’t have identical patterns or themes, so they look like a nice outfit you put together yourself!

Apparently, this is how we are smiling today.

Kapital K Shark Applique T-Shirt & Blue Striped Shorts ($27.60): This outfit is a little more expensive than the others, but it is so cute! The shorts are soft and relaxed fit.

He loved this outfit!

Sharkface!

I thought all of the Fitted Tot selections were great! The outfits were really cute and appropriate for my son’s age and activities. The prices to keep items were OK – with the purported 40-50% discount they were a little cheaper than the ordinary prices at the major children’s retailers, but still above the sales there. I also assume that you would receive gently used clothes at some point, and the prices don’t reflect that. The concept of a rental or temporary use clothing service for kids doesn’t work well for us – our kids are way too messy to keep their clothes nice enough to return. If switching to a preview and buy new model allowed slightly lower prices, I would be all over this box every month.

Thanks for the review Tom. The photos and descriptions are great and your son is quite the handsome little model. I just wanted to point out that there is no charge for stained or damaged items. If our cleaners cannot remove stains we simply recycle or donate the items.
