BOXYCHARM is a makeup and beauty subscription box that sends out 4-5 deluxe and full size samples every month. In the past the items have been mostly full-size products and the boxes have been able to maintain an amazingly high value.
The June theme was “Downtown Charm.”
All the item info is on the back of the card.
Everything in my June BOXYCHARM!
Luxie Rose Gold Pro Precision Tapered Face Brush 640 ($24) It’s always great to get a high quality brush and this tapered one is designed for applying highlighter or sweeping away excess powder (think loose shadow underneath your eyes!) or just blending your look!
Biobelle Beauty Secret Mask ($15) 3 sheet masks were in the box – each had their own magic powers. Subscribers received a variety of masks – I got one for hydration/nourishment, one for makeup prep, and another for reducing the appearance of fine lines.
My fave was the makeup primer one, both because it was so unusual, and because it worked!
All three masks are paraben-free and non-GMO too.
Ofra Liquid Lipstick in Tuscany or Santa Ana ($19.90) All subscribers received a liquid lipstick – mine’s in the shade Santa Ana (I think??? mine didn’t have a label on the bottom).
This formula is long lasting and I really like the pretty berry color.
A coupon was included for 30% off Ofra.
This shimmery powder is perfect. It’s all-natural and very versatile too! The color is suitable whether for light or dark skin tones. It can be used as a highlighter, and even on your eyes and body. And it’s just super shimmery and blingy. I swatched pretty heavily but you can just dust a touch on. I love it!
This is volume II – subscribers received volume I, II, or III.
I don’t know why, but the name of it is DO YOUR SQUATS.
20% of RealHer gross profits are donated to the AAUW. This is really cool because the AAUW does a lot of on the ground really effective work but they aren’t super flashy or cause based, so I don’t think they get a lot of press. And also, they donate gross profits, and a substantial amount of them.
This collection is described as “perfect basics” and they are all variations on rosy brown.
I thought the shade names were cute, and went with that AAUW mission. After getting this palette in my BOXYCHARM I am just incredibly impressed with this company. Plus the palette is great, you can make so many looks, and they go from light to dark and matte to shimmer!
My June BOXYCHARM had about $114 in products and if you love makeup you really need this box. The price is just a no brainer – $21 per month for a cartful of items to experiment with at a price you simply cannot beat. I think probably the average person could use maybe 1 more skincare item per month and 1 fewer makeup product, but ultimately it’s still worth the price even if you get a little bit of highlighter overload on boxy!
